Chase is not exempt, I doubt George would go since he's been working on his game to qualify for the PGA, and loves playing against and with his brother. If influencers get in they won't be able to have all their cameramen around filming for content very easy.
So you have to play four rounds to qualify for LIV three round tournaments?😁
Perfect strategy for the PGA Tour to rid itself of LIV Golf. Put a bunch of hacks like George, Grant and Luke, who have already shown they can't earn (George/Grant) or keep (Kwon, flunked out of KFT quickly) any level of a tour card, and that add a bunch of other yahoos like Bob Does Sports who couldn't break 130, put them on a LIV telecast and then the quality will be so bad it will discredit any level of professional golf whatsoever, resulting in the shutdown of LIV. PERFECT strategy!
They are both about as good as Chase Koepka which don't get me wrong, shooting Even par on a course on LIV is really good but it's not going to be good enough.

Agree would like to see a pre qualifier before the qualifying event. Televising the event will be cool to watch like the old pga tour school, edge of your seat viewing who will crash, who prevails etc. liv has so many avenues they could go with keeping the excitement up from new contracts to new qualifiers.
All due respect to YT influencers but some elite , never heard of, seniors and influencers..Not going help the tour with most casuals that already not watching.

This sounds terrible and desperate. The entire lure is money. I get it. Doesn’t translate to good golf. I have it a shot for 8 tournaments. It’s not my cup of tea and judging by the attendance on TV it’s not a lot of others’ people.

George who is still trying to make it to Korn Ferry Tour and Grant who just lost over 18 holes to Rick…? Luke won a tournament on PGA Tour Series- China (2019 I think). And maybe also Brad with his junior record and he at least played in US Open and Masters…should have been your obvious choices of you tube golf influencers…just saying.
Chase isn’t exempt but he did go from playing mini tours to $6M in 18 months.
This should be an opportunity for a guy like Harry Higgs, who as low on the PGA tour stats as he is, would smoke Grant, George and Micah. He’s not a money maker on the tour now. He’s right up LIV’s alley, he’s funny and entertaining and sure as hell would draw more attention than a dope like Lee Westwood who’s only saving grace is he’s a captain. Lee W is a washed up golfer. Higgs does have game at least.

Now I take my hat off to the good-good dudes qualifying their way in the way that they are doing. But their quality play doesn't green light one single other player. Videos do not a Golf Pro make….
Grant doesn't have the grit it takes to play tournament golf. He has the golf game but not the head game. You see the videos with Wesley in them and he gets in Grant's head really easy.
LIV needs Grant more then Grant needs LIV.
It would be fun but I don't see it making sense. If LIV is fighting to be viewed as legitimate alternative to the PGA Tour this would be a step in the wrong direction.

I'd love to see these 2 with LIV. PGA Tour won't allow George to keep any of his content on tour if he tries to go that route, they own his rights as we all know. LIV would let him own his content like they do with Bryson. Only a 14 tournament schedule as well which doesn't take a ton of his time.
Kaymer great golfer should be in Masters these guys semi injured but when Kaymer healthy win any tournament!!
