Struggling with Bunkers?
This is definitely something I’ve been struggling with and have made a point to focus more on this season.
I rarely find opportunities to practice enough in rounds, but when I was in a bunker it was always rough.
One of the 🔑 is to find a local range/course that has bunker practice areas. It’s not at all courses, but if you can find one it makes a huge difference.
Being able to grab a bucket and try this over and over is similar to going to the range. Get the method and muscle memory down. Take time to warm up before rounds.
If the weather has been less than ideal make a point to try out the bunker on an off day and practice different sand types. I know this is more than some people ask for. But if your serious about improving it’s well worth the time.
Let me know your thoughts on sand bunkers and if this video helps. I’m still working on this myself during the week when I have spare time.
