In this video, we take a closer look at Nuno Espirito Santo’s tactics at Premier League side Wolverhampton Wanderers. The analysis mainly deals with Nuno’s defending tactics in a 3-5-2 system and 3-4-3 system at Wolves. Therefore, we examine their press and how they transition from a 3-4-3 to a 5-4-1 formation and from a 3-5-2 to a 5-3-2 formation when defending deeper. Moreover, we are going to unveil what makes their counter-attacks so threatening. In order to demonstrate the tactical concepts, we provide examples from their games against Tottenham, Norwich and Brighton.
