I feel like Penn State and Ol Miss are about the same, except one is defensively good and the other offensive. I like Tom but I disagree with his point with the rankings.

A win is a win, but let's not pretend that Michigan's grind over Penn State was similar to Georgia's rout of Ole Miss. it could be that Michigan knew they didn't need to throw the ball as they led by 8 points for most the second half. Maybe they think it's 1985, and you can just sit on 8 point leads if your defense is good enough. More likely, they felt like it was more risky to throw against a good defense. That doesn't bode well should they make the playoff. Whoever they play there will be able to score on them, and then what?
Miss State should hire Kliff Kingsbury.
I don't understand why they are so big on Penn State and Notre Dame. Who has Penn State beat a whole bunch of nobody's. The only two games they literally have all year long they always loose. Because the entire Big ten all the rest of the teams are trash. Notre Dame got beat by one of the worst Clemson teams I've seen in a long time. They're just not very good teams.

I'm sorry Penn State is very fraudulent top ten. I could think of 15 teams right now that could whoop the crap out of Penn State. The thing is is Penn State never has to play any top 25 teams except for twice a year. What happens when they do play those top 25 teams every year they loose. If that's not fraudulent then I don't know what is. You guys up there can sit with a straight face and tell me LSU and Ole Miss would not beat Penn State when Ole Miss b LSU and they're so highly regarded for some weird reason too.
Deeon Sanners is going back to Mississississippippi to be come the new MiSs St. coach and he is gonna blow the country away by wining 5(!!!!!) games next year. With Bret Farve as a financial consultant Deon will bring the facilities to a level that rivals georgias and will soon be getting guys out of the transfer portal from places like Bama, OSU, Mich, the Raiders, and the Saints. Within 5 years he will have them competing for a Big 12 title before he leaves for the Charolette Hornets…. Mark my words

To build off of what Bud and Chip and Tom were saying about TAMU vs reality. In the last 70 years in all the publications and organizations and entities that have legitimized recognized polls that are counted by the NCAA in their final releasing of their polls, Texas A&M has finished in any of their polls in top 5 only five times total. In that same period besides the obvious schools such as Michigan, Texas, Alabama, Ohio, Southern California, etc… that you expect to be in the final top five of most polls every year in last 70 years, here are 15 other programs that have at least 5 top five ranked finishes in last 70 years if not more; which speaks volumes about what A&M is not but foolishly think they are. Here are the additional schools that this should embarrass Texas Ampersand Meathead University:
Boise State
TCU
Utah
Fresno State
Memphis
Houston
UCLA
Pitt
Va Tech
Arkansas
Ok St
Iowa (for the love of God, Iowa has had at least 5 top five finishes or more than that for past 70 years)
Louisville
KST
BYU
I know there are many other schools that have finished in final polls or all polls’ final results in top five at least 5 times or more over the past 70 years. But many of those schools are extremely expected to be. But these schools are unexpected to be poll results similar or better than TAMU. I think Air Force and UCF may have right at 5 top five finishes in one or all polls over the past 70 years and maybe Wyoming but most of those for those MWC schools are from 1980s to early 2000s with exception to Boise and TCU obviously. I think in the last 70 years Navy has four top five finishes in any or all polls if I recall. I will have to check.
Penn state is bad idk why we hype them up. Ole miss Penn state same team different side of the coin. One no defense one no offense. How you look at one is how you look at the other. Either it’s Ah good win or just Ah win

Michigan had to use 5 of 6 timeouts to avoid a delay of game penalty something I've never seen in 40 years watching college football.
No matter what job you work we all have had someone call out last second that made our job double for the day…its difficult.
It was a lot to throw on Moore last second but he did an excellent job especially considering Penn State defense in that stadium. Moore realized that Penn State couldnt get a first down let alone score in the 2nd half so he shut it down.

The main thing an expanded playoff does imo is give the top teams less time to prepare for there opponents and increase the odds of 2-4 best teams upsetting the top team possibly. Besides that hopefully it's just entertaining.
