Autistic race car driver Ben Taylor officially launched his car for the 2024 Porsche Sprint Cup season in conjunction with the largest autistic IT consulting business in the world – auticon. The team are planning to use autistic strengths to give him a winning edge.
The launch was held at Porsche Centre Melbourne Motorsport’s dedicated motor racing facility in Collingwood, Australia. This was a great opportunity to get a sneak peek into the Porsche Motorsport racing stable and its immaculate racing garage.
Auticon is helping to advance Ben’s driving by providing analytics support – specifically looking at Ben’s on-track data. auticon will deploy its autistic data analysts and software engineers to build insights that will take Ben’s driving to the next level.
The team will bring a new way of thinking to motorsport. It will see autistic IT professionals using their strengths in coding and analysis to support a highly focused and skilled autistic driver making the auticon car and Ben Taylor racing, a team with a real difference.
