  1. It baffles me how despite the clear answers, explanations and money spent that there are still some deluded fans wanting a fairy godmother to wave her wand and make us a championship club. We’re lucky to have the Eisners at PFC
    PUP PUP!

  2. To all of those who demand investment in the team before getting the infrastructure, the ground, the longterm sustainability of players, I ask have you not learnt anything from our recent past? The club has made massive strides towards having a ground that could one day host Premier League football in the future. Investment in the team has to be secondary for the moment until such time as all of this work is completed and then and only then would it be prudent to invest in players capable of playing at the highest level. Imagine being promoted last season, 90% of the team wouldn't have been here the following season and immediate relegation could easily have followed. The futures bright… EastMidsBlue

  3. Great to hear from the owner but I’d rather these be fan questions rather than these questions that are clearly structured by the club.

  4. Grateful to have this man, and his family and business associates, at the helm. The first phase of the stadium redevelopment looks great. Can't wait to see it progress further and how the first team shapes up for this season. Sounds like a big push to get the job done this season!

  5. It’s absolutely beyond me how people are not happy with our ownership?! Outstanding interview.

  6. What a boring old fart. How did he ever get the top job at Disney ? Their meetings must have gone on for days ! He hasn't got a clue about football. I stayed with it for about 8 minutes, before I realised it went on for more than 20, and had to turn off.

  7. Good interview, i totally agree about championship to prem cant be rushed, but i really hope that next season we are promoted to the championship, we really need it! its where we should be at minimum, once the ground capacity is increased then a prem push would be great.

  8. Thank you Michael for your honest answers. And thank you for all the effort that you and your team are doing for the club. P U P

  9. It looks like the Eisners having done all the essential works on the ground, which were absolutely essential to have a base for moving forward, have now got the management/recruitment infrastucture that they are confident in. Signing young players, with room for improvement, is the way to go. Better six of these for the price of a Marquis and only double the salary outlay. With the right service Bishop could get 30 league goals and bring in 10 million to invest in a promoted team.

  10. Such great owners! Not putting us in debt. Putting the infrastructure in place so in the future we can compete in the championship also not rushing into things. People was up in arms when we was in debt and nearly lost our believed club and now people are moaning because we are debt free and are having our ground updated and have a good manager and some good players coming into the club PUP

  11. Think about it logicly.
    Where would you rather be?
Back where we were 9/10 years back or where we are now?
Would you rather what man u, everton and even what Newcastle have had over the years?
Just remember what these people have done for our club, and look at what they are still doing for our club.
This man and family have brought into what it means to us. They are setting everything up for the future.
Younger signings are coming in for the future. The stadium is being updated and made safe for the future.
Biggest thing i heard there was he wants pompey boys and girls playing for portsmouth fc.
Why is it that wonderful tallent that is pompey born and bread have never played at any level for us.
JWP at scum and M. Mount at chelsea. Two massive pompey tallents that have never been with us.
This needs to change and these owners see that.
Lets see how life fairs at the 10year mark of this ownership.
    Play Up Pompey!

  12. Such a good well conducted interview. The guys done us proud behind the scenes it’s now for us fans to get behind the team and get promotion this season. Building brick by brick takes time and we shouldn’t forget where we were as a club a decade ago

  13. Michael Eisner, the guy who built Disney what it is today. Legend
