If Jack is actually "the devil," I think all you have to do in justifying his attack on Jay White is confirm that he's after the world championship and just call back to his previous feud with MJF from 7 months ago. MJF provoked Jack to not be "just Jungle Boy," saying he hoped they could be lifelong rivals but instead Jack chose to underachieve as a "good guy" for the fans. MJF cited even Hook as one of Jack's many set-back alliances, which perhaps acted as motivation for their split and Jack's recent heel turn. Everything's there, for the most part.
I think Hangman should win at Full Gear but then Swerve wins at the NY ppv at the end of December.

Why couldn’t Samoa Joe be the Devil? He vacated the ROH title and always is the person that pressures MJF that he needs him! The guy in the Devil mask is small but what if he is the throwaway guy who stands in for Joe when told to- as a swerve!
