  1. Not many understand the corrupt nature of any NON-PROFIT organization ? The Top dog on the PGA Mr Monahan takes home around $165,000 per week or aprox $8,500,000 pa but he's only involved because of his LOVE for the game and his desire to grow it… REALLY ? while we are on the subject do you have any idea how much Rory or the other select players on the Board are paid ? Maybe if you rewind the clocks you will remind yourselves why the LIV players left the PGA … That's right because of the corruption , being forced through their contracts to make Mr Monahan , Mr Mcilroy , Mr Cantlay , Mr Woods etc Richer ….
Yes that's right the PGA Players while NOT being Paid and while "donating" their time to promote and grow the game where actually making the above named richer (along with ALL the other board members) .
Like ALL NON-PROFIT organizations the first use of any excess monies is spent on increasing the earnings of the Board members while also increasing all the accompanying benefits that go with the role 🙂 , the odd handful of penny's will be thrown to the peasants from time to time but it's ever only enough to keep them pushing the Bus down the road and to give them some hope that one day they may make it onto that bus.
You guys keep bringing up MONEY and you both sound a lot like Mr Mcilroy so lets take a minute to talk about Him which may in turn help you understand what's really going on here .
Mr Mcilroy is a Professional Golfer who plays on the PGA Tour however he jumps back onto the DP Tour (along with others from the PGA) to ONLY play in the Biggest money tournaments that that tour has , which forces DP Tour members to give up their spot in the Tournament for HIM/THEM ! does that sound fair to the DP Players which are committed to the DP Tour ? You will never see Rory play in any of the lessor tournaments and WHY ? because he is all about the money NOT the promotion and growth of the game although that's NOT what we will ever hear him say even though its clearly true as has been shown by his own actions and lets not forget that Mr Mcilroy was never asked or invited to play on the LIV tour because his spoiled brat attitude was not a good fit with what LIV was intending to create and we all saw how upset he was by this snubbing.
There is no such thing as "SPORTS WASHING" it's merely a term used by the bitter and twisted minds of the extremely Jealous as NO amount of money can make you forget ANYTHING !! and nor should it because by forgetting the past it only allows us to make the same mistake in the future.
PS.. if the PIF invest in the PGA then that does not give the PGA any say in LIV golf and why should it ? as has been stated they will STILL be 2 separate company's that is unless the PGA wish in turn to invest in LIV 🙂
Have a Great Day my Friends

  2. Hey guys, Look pass the trees. Pga tour for profit will allow all the best and most popular players to play in all tournaments. For profit will demand what the public wants to see. PGA #2 TOUR not for profit will be not considered top players. So Pgat #1 players will be from all tours, pga , liv , dp world. Players will never have a commanding voice on PGA#1 for profit tour.

  3. Turn down the offer. Let LIV go on and dominate, and cut the number of PGA tournaments to 20….Live happily ever after!

  4. I think what Joe is saying to a SEGMENT of the Tour is this: Don't be naive about the future, it's all about the money and if you're not in the top 70 players, you'll soon be a dying breed.
There are as many as 156 PGA Tour players who can play in full field events, however, only 70 will play in the Elevated Events and only those 70 will be in the FEDEX Events. So, what happens to the other 86 players? Can you see what the lesser events will be like? They will be fighting for scraps while the top 70 earn more money and ranking points giving them greater advantages.
This is a nightmare scenario that Arnold and Jack would fight as a betrayal of the Tour's ideals and legacy. Maybe Jack doesn't care anymore since his Tournament is an Elevated Event as is Arnie's and Tiger's.
LIV of course has driven these drastic changes but it seems LIV will live on and may even break more crockery with the Majors and OWGR.
Look, the LIV model is going to give their Teams equity positions for the team members. All of those guys in LIV are making unbelievable amounts of money AND they're having fun doing it.
Who seems to be on the better track right now? Do I want to watch Tiger and Rory hitting golf balls at a "Top Golf" type stadium? I don't think so.

  5. If the private company gets greedy and makes it too expensive for fans it will be a huge mistake. Just look at greenfees at courses like Sawgrass $900, Kingsbarns $450 and so on for every bucket list course, making it unaffordable for most people. They are turning golf back into an elitist sport after years of trying to make the game more accessible. Also remember every tournament depends on volunteers, no volunteers no tournament.

  6. That sentence on the last page ….golf is a unique game with traditions built over centuries … what a hypocracy…. this guy has worked to destroy the tradition of golf at every turn… for his own power hungry greed.

  7. PGA tour will be just a qualification tour to get to the star laden liv tour where all the money is ,just as the dp and Korn ferry are

  8. I think that it's important to remember that ultimately Players are independent contractors.
At any time, for any reason, they can organize themselves and walk away from any or all currently active tours.

  9. It all predicates on the basis that all the cogs are currently aligned , which they clearly are not, and that the hierarchy in the PGA Tour have been acting in a dictatorial manner as evidenced by their actions that leaves the PGA tour members in a quandary

  10. I think this video has no value, is what I think. Big deal this player sends a letter stating what everyone already know about mergers and investors. You Brits love you some school girl drama. If none is around you like to create it. Worry about your own lousy tour that nobody attends and has 3rd string golfers.

  11. No owners but billions in assets. You may want to ask, WHO DOES THAT BENEFIT? It is NOT the player. Massive money laundering vehicle.

  12. So, the PGA board thinks it can disposess the union of the pga tour itself through financial filings?

This just shows you should never work to hard for anyone ever. Those who think they possess the world refuse everyone but their own children.

Hope you are all enjoying the BLATANTLY OBVIOUS FEUDAL DICTATORSHIP IN AMERICA AND UK. pathetic.

    PGA Tour players should strike.

  13. Some people think that the owners of PIF are not billionaires, but trillionaires. And PGA is essentially broke. There's a lot of talk boasting about PGA, but I don't see how you win against that much monetary advantage. And let's face it, PGA is only for a few of the top PGA players. They never show anyone else.

  14. Sounds possible the PGA tour under the non profit arm will continue to run the events that we currently know. Then a super elite series of events will be run globally under the for profit arm. This will provide the opportunity for the top 50 guys to compete head to head consistently. The interesting outcome of this would be that the PGA and all the others tours around the world will become the farm teams to build the future players for the elite tour. Seems very exciting.
