I'm pretty sure we've seen people get extra penalties or at least a warning for sucker punching someone withntheir gloves still on. I don't care if he's trying to pull Matthews off the ice, this was incredibly cowardly and dirty. I'm glad he landed as many punches as Matthews did, and he has his gloves off the whole time

Stamkos starts whaling on Mathews who was picking up sticks, has had wrist surgery and has literally million dollar hands. Mathews will push and shove in scrums but heโs not going to drop the gloves ffs, especially with that wrist he had surgically repaired.
