  1. And…….ok, Broadway Joe hasn’t met the bum. …..where’s Rodgers? On the sidelines game day rooting on Zach? ….mentoring Zach?

  2. Two things: Respectfully, Joe Namath is, and will forever be, a Jets legend. But I don't know what his relationship is with the Jets organization these days (or if ever) so what the hell is Joe Namath going to tell Wilson about being the Jets quarterback in NY? how to handle the pressure? How to deal with the media? This ain't the old days. Newspapers barely matter. Hell, I'd argue that radio doesn't have the influence it once had. Michael Kay is a legend in New York, but again, this ain't the old "kiss the ring" days. Namath mad because he didn't get a photo-op meet and greet with Zach Wilson? C'mon. And Michael Kay thinks the Jets are going to relegate their No.2 pick, the kid who is supposed to STILL be the future of the franchise, to 3rd string? Michael Kay is playing to the crowd a little too much on this one. Takes like this erode what little credibility he has left.

  3. Yankees are an embarrassment I enjoy watching them crumble simply because they refuse to make changes. Cashman and Boone should be fired

  4. Not a single question about Michael and his awesome investigative reporting into the Giants head coaches huge party and rager that he threw the night before the season opening?

  5. 1. Kay is a Yankees/Cashman insider and these remarks are therefore both interesting as well illustrative in showing you how deep-seated the Yankees' problems are. The organization needs a complete overhaul and probably a rebuild. 2. Aaron Rodgers is a far greater quarterback than Joe Namath ever was. Just look at every statistical measurement.

  6. Funniest part about this segment is that the side-by-side shots of Eisen & Kay are the same zoom setting. Michael Kay's head is just that large.

  7. If you wanna learn how to throw more interceptions than touchdowns in your career Joe Namath the guy who played over 50 years ago is your guy. Give me a break, such a garbage franchise pretending to be important.

  8. It doesn't surprise me that they are not replacing Boone. I believe Steinbrenner is afraid or doesn't care to make changes because he's a business man and the turnstiles keep spinning dollars. The only way it changes is the fans stay home!!! Just don't support insanity!

  9. You can't predict clutch, but I always felt I would see it in 2009 when guys like A-rod, Posada, Damon, and Matsui were at bat–and they did it right through the WS. I think Judge and Cole should be the voice of the players, but they aren't management and they aren't ownership. So I'm not sure how that works.

  10. Cash staying is a mistake. The holes each year for the last 3-4 have been glaringly obvious every offseason. He has either addressed them poorly or worse not addressed them at all or done the exact obvious. And now we are in a spot where the holes have piled up and this roster is an absolute mess. There are maybe 4-5 hitters that actually deserve to be wearing pinstripes (Judge, Gleyber, maybe DJ, maybe Rizzo, probably Volpe, and Jasson when he gets healthy). Stanton has to earn it back – he has been absolutely dreadful for over a full season now and just doesn't look like he knows what to do at the plate anymore. They need a LF, CF (until Jasson is back) and a new 3B. And ideally, they need another SP. Perfect offseason is Soto trade, Belli/KK/Lee from KBO at CF, and Jeimer at 3B with Yamamoto for SP. But if that happens, I would be blown away. I have no faith in Cash to make the right moves, and I don't know how much room Hal will give him because of how poorly Cash has spent his money. If we got a new GM, you'd give him a ton of room to work with to start out his tenure the right way. But sticking with Cash, we are going to flush away another year, possibly one of the last 2-3 of Judge and Cole's prime together. Just an embarrassment.

  11. I actually have Michael Kay on my list of best Major League Baseball Announcers. His enthusiasm for Yankees baseball is infectious and amazing!!!!!!!!!!!!
