People always forget holly holm. Hall of fame boxing career, multiple time champ and then became ufc champ
If that’s in a cage Fury got dropped he get no time to recover Ngannou would have finished him with a knockout Fury needs to hang it up his nothing special his just lucky the heavyweight division has been crap since Lewis retired Fury Wilder Joshua Usyk would be warm up fights for the big fights in the 80s or 90s there well outside the top ten of both them eras

All the talk and speculation, Frances did phenomenal! But the fact remains, Fury is still the champ until he gets knocked out or totally overwhelmed on points!
All this fight did was sets up media frenzy and some big dollar fights to come.

For those of you that don't know and want to take Joe's view as gospel.
According to the rules of Queensbury Boxing and all the manor organisations like WBC, iBF, WBA and WBO etc..,. The count is not allowed to start unless the aggressor (Ngannou at this time) is in a neutral opposite corner and most definitely not standing over his opponent dancing in a mocking way or waiting in an intimating way. Perhaps if Francis Ngannou was fully informed of this before the bout it might of mattered but I doubt it as Tyson Fury still got up.

I would expect better analysis from Joe Rogan tbh.
Fury`s main asset is his weight and clinching (along with 3 corrupt judges and a ref). He uses his size and weight as he did with Wilder to tire his opponent, only Francis was strong enough and skilled to stop Fury doing this and it exposed Fury as an average boxer that night. The count was ok same as Wilder fight, both show boated instead of going too a neutral corner. Ref should have deducted points for Fury`s elbow and the clinching.
