  1. HH BHOYS I am the same OH YANG IWATE All good players why anybody can say good or bad OH Like Scales will prove all who Mones about them so wrong Q IF CCV knee breaks down what will the next panic be who will take his place HOPE NOT Phillips he is Hopeless. thanks, show brilliant Turnbull missed a Penalty but so did the player who followed up hit ball straight to goalie which is very poor in it's self no mention of this in all pods + Kyogo miss to not spoken about hh ktf

  2. Seen I thing on YouTube earlier today, Sourness wanted Frank Lampard, but ranger's board didn't listen to him. Think they have a decent manager tho! Unfortunately!

  3. Talking complete rubbish Enda no team in the world would play with one CB. If Brendan did and we lost goal thru shape of play he would get slaughtered.

  4. I'd imagine The Asian 🏆 will see a Striker Take Priority come January
    NO KYOGO
    NO DAIZEN
    NO OH
    NO YANG
    They'll need 2B Good
    Matt O'Riley's U21🇩🇰teammate
    Matius Kvisgarden possibly

  5. Definitely concering signs. Think it is a coin flip for the league at this point. Really shouldnt be that way given our financial strength.

  6. James might be ''concerned'' & Alan even ''slightly concerned'' but neither did say (and I wonder why not?) that for the first time in more than a dozen years or so, we have a real & proper League Title race on our hands, although in fairness James did speak of them getting rid of Beale pretty sharpish when seven points behind us in October because they, we & my cat knew that if they didn't, it would very soon be ten, eleven or twelve points behind in November or December & sacking him then would be far too late & so giving his successor a hopeless task, but even worse than not dilly dallying in showing Beale the Ibrokes door marked EXIT & DON'T come back (it's a big door) they've replaced him with a Coach/Manager who has won things elsewhere & knows what he's doing & so much so, he has already started to get some kind of tune out of Beale's deadwood & dare I say the other lot are the only ones who can win a Treble this season!!!!!!!!

  7. Turnbull missing the penalty isn't a hanging offence by any stretch of the imagination however, if I was a manager I would be fuming with what he did next. Turnbull stands with his head in is hands, as Palma takes the shot and more importantly as O'Riley heads it towards goal. If he had been on his toes he could have and should have headed O'Riley's ball into the net. I'm not a Turnbull hater by any stretch of the imagination, but this 5 seconds of play shows to me that he just doesn't have the hunger, the never say die attitude to become a great TEAM player.

  8. Love this show. Twice a week is just perfect.
To my amateur eye, Holm looks like a natural successor to McGregor in time.
He actually reminds me of Billy Gilmour. So calm and composed on the ball.

Should definitely be bleeding him in gradually with a view to the future.

  9. great chat guys,

    a few observations ,

re st mirren – speed of play was up on hibs, with celtics movement creating nearly twice as many touches in the higher xg zones inside the box compared to hibs game, and it eventually told in the second goal .

st mirren dont look as fit and well drilled as last year , the mids marking not as tight, with celtic creating space in the middle of the final third but not using it until late. st mirren were gone by about 60 minutes ,

re jj's xg concerns- it might be just me, but the general impression i get is that rodgers celtics pressing in the league is allowing more transition ops for opponants , relative to angeball, but i could be wrong. sure alan would have the answer. celtic were behind in the xg league to rangers but at present they appear to have nudged ahead , but too close for comfort and within league losing range.

i made the argument that when we do a stat fit analysis of rodgers final season at leicester relative to celtic, i couldnt see how celtic get to 90 points, and hence the league was line ball , assuming the consistency rangers achieved under beile last season.

a bit of a counteracting good trend emerging in that celtics squad attacking contribution is at present around .4 per player per 90 minutes , up from a league losing .32 in recent times . and matching year 1 angeball . i dont think anyone is ever going to match year 2 of angeball in europe. hopfully that trend is maintained.

re recruits- you wouldnt want to be on the fringes of the celtic squad with enda knocking on your door , rather the grim reaper with some salmon 😉

joking aside , the only curiosity to me is kwong. his heat map is amazing even if it was k2 league, better than souza who ange went in hard for , and is now playing in the epl. hes big and fast , and gets about a bit , celtic have to give him a crack , even if it means doing something about calmac. could be a revelation.

keep up the great work guys, learn so much from these pods

  10. Yang was so good , Holm fitted in exceptionally however the down side was Forrest and Taylor had poor performances. IMO I would prioritise a left back .

  11. Lads, great discussion, first time tuned in for me, Glentoran and Celtic til I die

  12. Factual and in depth. Explained brilliantly. Not a better analysis of Celtic on the internet. 👏💚👍
