In this week’s episode of my journey to scratch, I present to you one of the best golf lessons I have ever taken with Zach. My natural club path tendencies were starting to creep up again, so we had to address them. This is a good reminder that a consistent in-to-out club path can make a huge difference in your ball flight.

Another fantastic Friday night with Erndog and Zach. Love it!
That’s gold! So many good nuggets. I really appreciate your tag team effort. When Zach steps we get to see him deliver what he teaches you with upmost clarity. Well done gentleman.
Hey Ernie, I recall you were tracking your game with strokes gained. Could you do a vid at some point analyzing your strengths and weaknesses and how they've progressed over time?
When you're doing those exaggerated path swings it looks like a PROPER golf swing, like legit. Amazing lesson
Great lesson as always. Loved seeing Zach hit the ball too. My game is so up and down right now it’s tough, but I’ll keep working on it 👍🏻🤨🏌🏻♂️
Hey Ernie and zach, at 3.25mins he says "feel the arms separate from the shoulders" can you guys elobarate please….do you mean arms release?
Hi, excellent video.. I hope to see this applied to the driver. Your swing looks fantastic during this video. Well done.
This is really good stuff. This year I finally fixed my club path but I’m early extending. Did you ever have an early extending problem and if so what did you do to fix it?
Loving the journey and watching your improvement! I struggle with over the top and path finishing to much to the left inside of me. Can I ask was there a certain feel you had when realising you could swing so much deeper and closer from the inside? I can’t seem to get it right? 👊🏼
Really relatable lesson. Have taken a lot from it. Really nice channel, glad I found it!
Thanks for sharing these and your journey. I think we all struggle with the same issues and it's incredible that you take the time to post these
Can you ask Zac if this drill/swing concept is more for golfers who swing over the top? My swing fault is coming from too far inside and early extending. I have been spending practice time trying to feel the opposite-club exiting left and hitting cuts to counteract my issue. Thanks, love what you're posting and the work and progress you're doing!
Is the pelvis shift for all clubs, or only for the irons?
Love this lesson. Had a similar issue too much hips. The shift method he showed you is great. Worked on that Saturday morning and it really helped my iron striking.
Great lesson – but the shiny nail in the face of the siding (left of the tv/monitor) is triggering.
Watched and tried this today. Was absolutely flushing the balls l hit. Shift and then turn. Perfect.
I've been doing this with my long clubs though. Driver, w3, w5, h3, h4.
I never thought it is also applicable to the irons.. i think i should also try it out. Thanks Erndog Golf!❤
Hah, I didn’t get through the first 4 minutes without going out twice to check things out on my hitting net. I always (for the last 4-5 months) do a warm-up where I go to the top of my backswing and then drop my hands – and then I hit the ball from there. If I do a pelvic shift forward then it is subtle and trying to emulate that (without setting up a video) didn’t feel right to me. I focus on holding my left side somewhat so I don’t sway and that may mean I’m already in that shifted position… Will have to check it out on camera. At any rate, the growth of your swing from a year ago to now is amazing. Lower scores will come!
Just stumbled onto your videos and immediately went to my garage and fired up my Garmin R10/Awesome Golf driving range, and just tried focus on getting my face angle to be half of my club path. Haven't quite got the shot shape yet but I gained 10-20 yards on all my irons in just an hour lol this guy is an amazing instructor
Exactly what I need. Great video
