The goal was to ride every trail on the Golfie in one ride. That’s 44 trails. It would require an insane level of fitness, and commitment. The route would ultimately cover 148.3 km and with 8,297 m of climbing.
Then you need the “knowledge”. The trails range from mellow-ish, through to EWS hard, and too hard for EWS, challenges. In short, it isn’t simply about fitness. You must be good. You must be……mad.
This is the story of Mark Scott’s mission to try a full round of the Golfie. And it’s a story of the trails and the people there.

Epic days riding squeezing in just 2 or 3 trails most places in the Tweed valley but that wis Off the scale 👌🏻 🚲
Loved that Markey! Great filming, loved the style filming & editing. And enjoyed seeing the challenge unfold. Can't wait to see more!

incredible, im inspired to ride more than 4 tracks next time I go, maybe not 44 though 😂
Wow, managed about 8 or 10 in day on an ebike!!
Absolutely amazing effort!
I felt too much of the pain there! I used to do a fair few rides over 2000M of climbing and have done Snowdon twice in a day by different routes but over 8000M? Incredible.
