The Golf Swing ENGINE | How To Get The Most From Your Swing

In this video I talk about the details that need to be understood about the right arm. Danny Maude and Pete Cowen have spoken about the right arm, but today I will share my thoughts on this highly influential component of the golf swing.

If you can master the understanding of the right arm you will excel at golf; the engine room of the golf swing comes from the right side of the body, using this efficiently will lower your score, hit the ball further but not only that, improve your all important consistency.

Let me help you play better golf, hope you enjoy!

  1. ……oh man…… can't wait for this one…… please god let the answer be Miller Lite, if not, I'm still gonna watch anyway…….. ⛳🍺

  2. Stuart the fact that you have the strength of character and the conviction and the belief in your coaching to question the likes of Pete Cowen and Danny Maude is something that appeals to me personally, very strongly, dont ever change this approach please. Also another great bit of knowledge delivered to us again. Thanks stuart.Peter from wales.

  3. Bottom line you have proven the golf swing is dynamic and not a bunch of static positions… hence the reason you have to pull the club down for that whipping action …all back to cause and effect… thanks for keeping it real 😅😅

  4. Hi Stuart this is by far the best golf coaching on you tube a massive thanks.i get your grip coaching ,I just have one question about the last 3 fingers of the left hand.why does a gap appear when swinging the club at the top of the back swing.or is this normal .

  5. In the monitor now and thinking of setting with the pull. All of a sudden my pause at the top is gone and less tension in the swing. Hmm…you may just know what you’re talking about! 😂. First winter league on Wednesday and shot way below my handicap. Many thanks my friend. NWH

  6. Your right arm swing has just demonstrated the modern ATP tennis forehand – have you thought about coaching tennis as well!

  7. Stuart, another excellent video on why the grip is so important. You just solved my recent problem of slicing my irons, it’s the orientation of my right (trail) hand on the club. I did a few slow swings with different right hand orientations and was pleasantly surprised how the club face opened and closed at impact. This knowledge and change got me hitting much better strikes like I used to do. It’s amazing how your grip will change if you’re not, you won’t know it and screw up your strike. It’s similar to your aim changing if you’re not carefully and your shots going way offline. This taught me that you have to be vigilant in your setup and make sure it’s always correct. Thanks for the education. Cheers.

  8. What I would love to see if the overhead view showing how it looks from that perspective when you pull. I think I’m pulling to the point where the drives and long irons have been going left

  9. Kapow! And there it is. I could not work out why, every once in a while the bloody ball would go right after drawing everything all day. And there it is in the right hand grip. I have been really focusing on the left hand and not giving much thought to the right hand, so sometimes I guess it would go to a more neutral position which would get the club face open at impact. Thanks Stuart, awesome content.
