  1. The commute is a non issue for JR who would fly private every Monday, and he would have know as much when he signed, the fact he pulled out so late, the reason has to be something else, i doubt he is going to LIV, but if he had any sense, it would be a no brainer for him to sign to LIV now. 5yrs exemption, control over his schedule, no more PGAT bs, and a huge bag of money. P.S JR has tweeted about it.

  2. I wouldn’t blame Rahm for going to LIV. Not One player in the TGL is on LIV, which could mean it was set up to Keep major players from going to LIV.

  3. IDK it seems he is very invested in the PGA and all the majors plus he has always spoke against LIV

  4. So I actually do think this is as simple as Rahm not wanting to commute to the palm beach golf tech league.

And not necessarily anything to do with LIv; although Rahm should sign with LIv. Imho. But that’s not here nor there.

This again shows TGL could have a difficult time getting top players with families who do not live in the area; spieth is likely not in for the same reason; although I have to wonder if JT may crank up the pressure on his boo Jordie to take Rahms spot.

You have to wonder how much money they are getting to leave their families on these mondays; I’m almost certain TGL money is nowhere near LIv money, and even LIv money may not be enough for rahm; whom according to reports asked for more than LIv would give.

    But also the format:
If Rahm doesn’t love Livs format, how is he supposed to feel about 3 hole 3 person scrambles played partly on a screen and the rest on astroturf?

I mean seriously TGL sounds fun and I will watch but even I would have to wonder if I want to give up my precious couch time to travel to Florida to hit a few shots. We hear it regularly with DCP, families won’t travel for 9 shots; and that’s for a once in a lifetime opportunity to compete at Augusta national.

I don’t know what this means for the pga tour and LIv saga, i cannot say this means rham is making the big move, but this is a pretty big blow to Rory and tigers Rec league.

    That’s for sure.

  5. Jon Rahm will have 400 million reasons to explain why he joined LIV, because that's what he was rumored to be getting. Bye-bye PGA, lol

  6. It makes sense. Jon has access to all majors for next 5 years easily. If he’s a great player he’ll win atleast one and keep extending that access. If he’s not than fuck it, he’s won 2, go to love make a couple hundred mil and chill out
