When the Ravens lost to the Steelers, they came after his contract after having his passes dropped 8 times with 3 TDs missed.
They planned for LJ to beat them with his arm and not his legs. No one seen this coming. You can live with this. The “sky is falling” motif is downright ridiculous. After the game, we are STILL 1st in the Division and tied for 2nd in the conference. Relax!

I am a Lions fan since was 8, they seem like they laid down on this game. Better get some better game plan and play calling for the Raiders.
If Goff is not comparable to the top 5 QBs then one are many saying he's playing like a top 5 QB and why isn't that people are calling him a franchise QB. It can't be a double standard he is or he isn't. If he is then he needs to held to the same standard.

I think this discussion should have been looked at an alternate angle!! Let's say if Goff and Lamar traded the spots in that game!!! Goff would have put 450 yards and 5 TDs the way the trenches, running game and entire game got played!!! Lamar would put a big Duck, zero, zilch!!! So, QB either had mega advantage or huge disadvantage depending upon what team he was on; the way rest of the Ravens played A1 game and rest of the Lions played lowest quality game!!!
The bottom line is the Lions sold out to draft Hutchinson and play him to the best of his abilities.
That means attempting to assemble the worst defense in the league. A 43 which features LBs who can actually play the role in the traditional sense.
You can’t blame the Lions. They took a 43DE who is going to make a few splash plays or give you nothing. He’s been doing this going back to Michigan.
This past weekend you see what you can expect when a QB can—
1. Beat the rush with his legs
2. Beat the rush with the short & intermediate pass
Lamar is good at doing both of those things.
This off season the team needs to make some serious decisions about their LB core. It’s bad right now. CB is another massive liability. The problem is the team is looking for a very very specific player who can open up the 43 to its full benefits. The reality is the type of guy you’re looking for at OLB (think Lance Briggs) is a tough get. So you can expect to see more 4-2-5 fronts going forward and with it—more games of struggles any time a QB can move the pocket or hit short and intermediate routes.
It is what it is. This is why the Suh era failed abs why it’s exceedingly hard to start with your defensive line or tie your success to getting pressure.

Is the commentator stupid? that's ALL Lamar WAS doing, was throwing from the pocket! that's the point! That's why y'all lost, with that false , antiquated, 5 year old thinking! Lamar is a thrower of the football, and he masterfully showed it. Watch the replays of the game or the all 22. Accurate. dominant. Surgical. Innovative.
The whole team 💩 the bed. Coaches were incompetent. Defense was inept. Offense was inconsistent.
i really feel like if we , the fans give our players positive encouragement, there will be a better chance of them playing well.

The college football is different from the NFL one. Many player take time to adjust to the different ball.
i mean i cant help but feel like it would have been a much different game if we would have gotten the holding calls called fairly. i was surprised they called the intention grounding call in the 1st, “wow a fair call for the lions thats crazy”. i said that out loud lmaoo. then somehow our entire D line gets held the fuck down so bad that lamar jackson had 15 seconds to wait for someone to open something up for an improvised route in the endzone. complete moment shift before the first score
