I can't help think that our best chance at silverwear is this cup. We've already knocked out Man City. He may play some that needs rest.
Great show as always lads
I would include Chelsea with Arsenal and Liverpool as a team who could beat us if they start finishing their chances. Palmer in particular would cause us problems, he will cause everyone problems. They have similar problems we had with low blocks.
I would play Karius over Dubravka so as not to cup-tie Dubravka in January where we may need money for reinforcements.
Team selections and players availability are things that doesnt have to be transparent for the fans
Think the botman setback is massive for us… along with isak, however botman offers more sustainability within the side. Seen a few of the old lacelles showing against wolves so fingers crossed we can manage but it'll be a real challenge. January can't come quick enough
Howe evasive about Botman, seems strange
Joelinton on the left with Bruno in the middle. Purely because he'll want to prove a point from the final esp if cassamero plays
Just on the ETH none interview you are not obliged to do a interview for the Carabao cup.
Just for info.
I'm also concerned that Manure will win and put further pressure on Howe (and his transfer window). Manure are better at home, they rarely go through spells of losing time and time again, they have decisions go their way and our team will be weak. I hope I'm wrong but I can see them winning 2-0.
If Karius, Livramento, Hall and Targett don't start….What's the point
Have to say lads Ive always loved the show and I think the 3 of you are class but in my opinion the show is becoming bogged down with superchats and ridiculous mentions of membership anniversaries. "Big Stan is celebrating 13 months as a member" etc.. and then next month "Big Stan is celebrating 14 months as a member" I mean really who bliddy cares ? You may tell me to #### off because Im not a member but In my opinion its tainting a brilliant show and what makes it brilliant is the football content and banter and were having less and less of this due to mentioning everybodys membership lengths
is it true about were in for marcos Leonardo
Great show lads. This is a really hard one to call (lineup). If I'm honest I think we really need to protect some of our key starters, even if it means sacking of this cup (a real shame). The positive to take from this is it gives the likes of Hall and Livramento a real chance to stake a claim for more playing time.
It is difficult for Newcastle United to win over Manchester United, especially playing at Old Trafford, the most important thing is to survive until 0:0 and the penalty shootout, the kicker, Almiron, Wilson, Trippier, Willock, Bruno or Longstaff or Schar for the best line-up as follows:
>Willock + Wilson + Almiron
>Lavrentino/Joelinton + Bruno + Longstaff
>Burn + Schar + Lascelles + Trippier
>Nick Pope
Hope you win
Regardless of the line up tonight I trust Howe will have everyone prepared, his attention to detail is second to none. Man U should be worried HWTL
Tbf on Roy tho he was more about anger baby Fernandez is just about whinging and crying to the ref
When target came on for trippier the other day he played very well so aslong as he’s the same today I wouldn’t be arsed if target played
Don't agree with you! It has to be a personal issue with Dubravka! He was the better goalkeeper! It was no need to sign a mediocre "english" keeper. Nick Pope is never going to be a keeper that will fight for a place in the national team and he is not a keeper that will be a keeper top clubs are looking for.
I want Lewis Hall and liva to play against manu…l want to see Miles in midfield…tbh l don't think we shd play Wilson either. He needs a rest.
