I had the opportunity to know him for a short time. I was in Santander 5 times and had lunch with him. He was a honest, calm nice man. And we had a fun time talking about life. The a few years later he passed away and he's last year he hide away from most people and just spend it with his family.

In 1978 he was paired with Gary Player in the final round and saw him win his 3rd Masters that is what inspired him to become a Champion.

Time & time again Seve produced the goods in the most pressurised of situations. He made European golf what it is today. He was the best of his era & like Arnold Palmer is the king of US golf he is the king of European golf. #Legend
