  1. Love this video. I have these thoughts all the time with just about all my discs… ha! I have been on the search for a straight putter and midrange for a while. I bag a Pure and Mako3, but my pure is more overstable than I want. I have a zero medium one also, but if there is any wind, it turns over. For the Mako3, sometimes it's straight, sometimes it's stable, just not sure. (and it's probably me, not the disc). But I love to throw flat and straight and get that out of my fairways and drivers, but just struggling with the lower speeds. Go Braves! Beat those Phils

  2. What’s up blood yeah main you pretty cool Holmes. When I say man, it’s man and all but it comes out sounding like main Maybe dats cuz I’m originally from da Oak motherfucking Oakland smoking yeah alright knaw I say know but it comes out sounding knaw or even knaow and shit. You can mason or/ow mention my motherfucking name anytame ow anytime yo motherfucking wonts ow wants tow ow to cuz I likes or like to or thouw flow a deer a doe mine hoe gets owoon da floor to pleeease maaay

  3. Your legit appreciate your realistic and honest approach on playing disc golf. Pandemic gave me the opportunity to play daily bought some under stable discs which offered me some hope and caught that bug. I was an athlete younger days threw the frisbee bunch thought hell yeah I might be good Well I’m not very good much better then my current rating but can’t pass 350 make 40% putts which should be 80 or 90 and sometimes my upshot’s feel so foreign I’m like wtf am I shrooming or some shit. Occasionally or rarely I’m grooving in control hitting lines making puts smooth drives at 58 been sporting all me life not golf but pic up hoops softball smoking reefer etc so I’m late to the party only sport I ever took seriously I had opportunities for scholarships doubling mile and two mile track events one of the fastest state of CA anywho ended up enlisting in Army cuz I hated competitive running and never took anything seriously so my rambling point is disc golf is the only thing ow one other thing did but anyway not till I was like 55 years old so I owe something to the game in my lowly opinion not that anyway don’t waste your time reading my garbage maybe read something I ramble in two years when I hit the MPO 60’s. I’d pass you couple bucks cuz I think you deserve it big time for tge work you do but I’m truly a broke dick so impossibility therefore I just like and subscribed hope no one wasted much time on this ramble

  4. I am curious about the comparison. If you throw a shot that is not the same as the others, would it make sense to exclude that shot instead of counting it against the disc?

  5. I use a Fluid judge as an approach disc. Judge has best basic flight for a hyzer approach. Fluid plastic is grippy and stops without much skip or roll. Anhyzer approach I'll throw a DD deputy in classic blend and it can hold an anhyzer angle on approach. YMMV!

  6. My solution is having 3 bags and 2 carts, and a garage and truck full of discs I switch up in all of them. As long as I’m always ready for an impromptu round, I’m good. I’m learning a lot of discs all the time. Bad idea? Maybe. But it’s fun to do bad things.

  7. Embracing the grip lock is good. I can throw one mold perfect every time. I try a different plastic of the same mold, and grip lock it at 3 o
Clock. I also like to redeem a disc after a bad throw. Committing to a disc is as important as committing to a throw.

  8. Robbie, try a star/luster/halo Invader for that slot and thank me later 🙂

  9. OTB East if you want only the best… my personal favorite premium plastic putter is the new Cosmic Fury from Discmania (Logic). If you want a bead try the Link but both in my opinion are awesome throwing putters. The Link is a little more over stable than the Logic.

  10. Thought Space should really start producing the ethereal Praxis again. I love the Sensei and that Judge looks sick but I can't get enough of the old ethereal Praxis. I feel crazy because I now have 7 of the Buddha stamped ones but it's the best feeling approach/putting putter I have ever tried and I've tried many. Basically a straighter flying Envy with tons of glide. Basically a mid that you can putt with. Stays on any line you set it on. A laser beam. Also just fyi the TSA ethereal plastic is the same as MVP/Axiom Plasma. Extremely durable and the perfect ratio of stiffness and gumminess.👌

  11. The problem is the human brain. We always think things could be better or we want more. We find something that sticks but we always think another disc could give us an edge somehow. If it feels good and it works, you've found the answer. Now, there's nothing wrong with picking up new plastic and trying it out if something piques your interest but, theres no need to give the idea something could be better free permanent real estate in your brain.
