The UK hype train always gets derailed after mid-season. Front load with pushovers to build the hype, then back to reality when the meat of the season starts…read, rinse, and repeat!

Its not any single coaches inability to coach that is the issue at Kentucky football. It's any single coaches inability to recruit that is, has, and most likely always will be the issue. Bear Bryant (60-23) was at Kentucky for 8 seasons. He only had one season with 10 or more wins. The next 10 win season comes under Fran Curci (47-51-2) in 1977. After that, not another one until Mark Stoops (71-62) 2018 and 2021. All of the coaches want to win. All of the former Kentucky coaches can coach. However, none of them could recruit 22 five star football player's with their respective four and five star backups to come play for kentucky for any given season. It really is that stupid.

I have heard this a few times. When was Kentucky ever down by 2 in this game? They were never down by 2. It was 3 points or higher.
UK fans just enjoy. Its a game played with a ball. Kentucky has no real recruiting ability, State or program. Its a BBall school and your in the SEC. Come a LONG way !
Ky played good football. Stoop is right about one thing the talent level is just not there. Maybe you should take some of that Basketball money and put it in football, or like your lovable coach says and pony up Go Vols
Never saw a game where Kentucky held so often, yet never had a single penalty other than 4 procedure penalties. Tennessee is just a better team.
I love our fans passion just don't care for the lack of reality…we struggle with Tenn because they live rent free in our heads.. stoops is the best Coach in football we've had since I was a kid I'm 59 now. If you don't like that or our team,move to Tenn and pray for Ernie and Bernie to come back and make you relavent in mbb.. BBN is for life or your not a true fan

As a UK fan in Knoxville, TN…….I caution UK fans calling for “Changes” that could result in Stoops being fired. Stoops is a very good coach and has made UK a competitor.
I’ve seen the UT fans run coach after coach off searching for wins for quite a long time…..I don’t think we want UK to go through that.
