Tbf that’s exactly how my dad would’ve told me the story of Goldilocks when I was a kid. That scenario of the parents telling their kid a story before bed happened to me for years, when my mum told me a story I would ask for another and another and another and she would end up telling 2/3 stories minimum. My dad however would tell me one story and if I asked for another he’d say no “time to go to sleep” 😂
