I don’t view LIV as identity politics. I think it makes intuitive sense to group players by nationality or language, both for team cohesion and public support. I think it is fun having the Fireballs, Stingers, Majestics, etc all represent a shared geographic or language group.
Liv Golf not giving ties to players with the same score makes no sense to me and could potentially screw somebody badly. Every other golf league on earth does ties except for 1st

problem solved- 8 player teams. Bottom 6, including captains, play 72 man play in tourny on thursday. Top 3 on each team qualify to play on team for 54 hole main tournament, leaving a field of 60-ie. 12 5 man teams. Solves owgr issues as well as issues with a bad player being on team week after week.
