STEALTH HD vs P7MC – SAME LOFT TEST – Is a Game Improvement Iron That Much More Forgiving??

In this video we put the super game improvement Stealth HD up against the ‘no help’ P7MC to see what the differences really are in performance and forgiveness…

And we even match the lofts to make it a really fair test!

  1. Great and unusual comparison! Makes me want to go out and pickup a set of T150s or P7MC over my T200s now, just for the "feel": aspect alone. ¯_(ツ)_/¯

  2. Did not expect there to be more of a difference. I play with blades and everyone always says they are harder to hit/less forgiving. Maybe true to a point, but at my level I don't notice it and hitting CB I get essentially the same outcome. Comes down to looks and feel for me. Great attention to detail on standardizing lofts and shafts. Those distance irons go longer normally because they have stronger loft.

  3. 71 views (when I watched) 9 likes…..come on people, what’s not to like? Smash that like button ⛳️🏌🏻😉👍🏻

  4. Good test. Draw bias means more hard pulls and hooks for me. P7MC was impressive at the same loft.

  5. Why not just use the same stock lofts instead of bending which changes bounce and offset? The HD 7(30*) and 8(34*) irons are the same as the MC 6(30*) and 7(34*) irons.

  6. that stealth is very ugly club. I think most "better players" in blind test, if that was even possible, would prefer the P7MC without question

  7. Such shocking resukts! I recently bought a set of Stealth HD irons for my mother-in-law, will try to have her test it against a traditional cavity back and see what it is like for her swing speed.

  8. Great video 👍🏻
I’ve seen a few of these loft match videos now, most testers find the same. Ie a degree more launch and on occasion a tiny bit more ball speed.
Much more interesting than most YouTubers that just regurgitate the marketing spiel and cliches!
In reality I think all the tech in irons adds up to very little in results.

  9. i think if you put a good player on either one there won't be much of a difference. Put a true high handicapper amateur and you'll see more pronounced differences.

  10. I see a lot of guys hitting level to even a little up at the slower swing speed. I would like to see what results you would get with a shallower attack angle, especially spin.

  11. Interesting when you think how much R&D must have gone into Stealth HD for what result? Marketing?

  12. I play the older P7MC and they are great for forgiveness for the type of iron they are aimed at. People body swerve them used, but if they tried them, they'd change their minds for sure.

  13. Great video – and my experience too – just feels like a myth that blades are hard to hit. Actually can be easier if you get more precise feedback on strike (obviously that's a benefit that comes through practice, not an isolated shot) and the turf interaction is better
