The 2023 US Open main draw runs from August 28 – September 10 in New York City at the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center. The tournament takes place for the 143rd time and is the fourth and final Grand Slam of the year. Last year, Spain’s Carlos Alcaraz and Poland’s Iga Swiatek claimed the men’s and women’s singles titles. It was both players’ first US Open title, with Alcaraz winning his first Grand Slam title and Swiatek winning her third Grand Slam title. This year, at the US Open, we’re set for another historic tournament as the world’s best tennis players head to New York.     Top-flight performance from my favorite female tennis competitor Iga SWIATEK! Particularly, when I watched the movement of the dropshot, it manifests that the versatility will keep evolving in each passing stage. She has entirely pulled a rabbit out of the hat. JAZDAAA!!!

    I don't know any other sport where the women do less work ( win 2 of possible 3 sets) and demand equal pay as the men who must win 3 of possible 5 sets. Absolutely criminal by those who permit this.

    Brutal – Iga has this ability to make short work of lesser opponents which are signs of a Champion/Great. She doesn't sweat much in the first few rounds even in todays world where other top players are routinely taken to 3 sets in the opening rounds and expend too much energy!

    Great and dominant performance by Swiatek. But to not even show a single won point from Peterson is pretty bad. Would've made for a better highlight to show some from both players.
