The PING G430 LST fairway wood is the newest addition from PING to the PING G430 series of products. The PING G430 LST fairway wood is designed with a more compact shape and more forward center of gravity to provide low spin and workability. But how does the PING G430 LST fairway wood compare to the PING G430 Max fairway wood?
In this video, 2nd Swing’s Drew Mahowald and Cam Root conduct a head to head test to compare the similarities and differences of the PING G430 LST fairway wood and the PING G430 Max fairway wood.

I don’t get it. This seems a no brainer. Max for the win. Honestly…we seem to have a player that “wants” the lst to take it. Hmm…
I changed from the Ping G425 LST 3 wood to the Paradym X 3 wood, and hitting the new one so much better.
This guy is under arrest. For murdering those clubs. Damn he was good.
It's weird how similar they are… Agree. Wish you guys could show strike location to see if that was a factor or not.
For $150 more NO CHANCE the peformance difference covers it.
Ping fairway woods are awesome. The difference between max and LST… Are literally nothing. It seems like it's just a d*ick measuring contest in the bag on who has the smallest "players" clubs. It's like when someone says… "oh, I play Tour issue" or "I play triple diamond". "oh, you have the Max? Are you new to golf or something?" We get it.
