Q.
What are you permitted to do if you are searching for your ball, and if you cause your ball to move during a search, what is the ruling?
.
A.
You are permitted to search for your ball using reasonable actions, such as bending or moving grass, but if you perform actions to search for your ball that would be considered unreasonable, then you incur a general penalty.

There is no penalty if you cause your ball during a search, provided you were using reasonable actions to search for it.
