  1. – Maxime Chalon {ex-referee}: 'This action will not be debated, the rule is very clear. The player must leave behind his goal line and already he leaves with his foot on the line, so his starting position is illegal. Then, we see clearly, with other slowed down, that he goes up before the Frenchman starts his run. Moving the upper body is not enough to give the start, it must start its momentum race backward or forward and there it is not the case, so the transformation had to be retapped with prohibition of load this time. That is the rule."

We been down in a poverty oh so long, yeah
We been down in captivity much too long
We been down in humility, and oh so long

We been down in a sufferation much too long
We been down in humiliation oh so long, yeah
We been down in a condemnation much too long
We been down in a segregation oh so long"
Is this a french contemporary work song ???

  3. It was obviously illegal… he started runing way before and it should have been repeated and the SA player expelled

  4. I have watch lots of different clips of this. I love the boks, but if you see the the clip of him starting to run, and i know the TMO would have looked at it , he looks off side , starts running early. Hes 5m over the line befor the kicker moves forward or am i missing the point of when he can start the charge?

  5. The fastest sprinter of all is the one who can start before any other. And don't bother to check with the TMO in case it would prove you wrong. Thank you O'Kiefe

  6. Btw even world rugby admitted it was a wrong move by Kolbe and registered it as one of the 5 refereeing mistakes of the game.
Thank you O'Keefe for the southern hemisphere solidarity, four nations still at the top

  7. Reinach also attempted a charge down on another French conversion after another try they got. They must've talked about it and at what time they can start running because the ref and TMO didn't object to it.

I have seen the Boks before lifting a player up behind the poles and knocking the ball away preventing it from going through the poles but obviously that can only be done to balls which are low above the cross bar.

  8. Breaking Lines : English translation below!
_ World Rugby recognizes major "errors" in refereeing in the quarter-final between Les Bleus and South Africa
The non-perception of Du toit sur Danty’s header (17'), Kolbe’s hasty departure on the counter of Ramos' transformation (22'), and Kwagga Smith’s illegal “scraping” that should have brought a penalty to Les Bleus (68').

  9. Seriously @worldrugby can you give a better angle so we can see Kolbe's full run? Come on, like how many cameras are there, and the best you come up with is a close up of Ramos that only zooms out at the moment it's blocked.

  10. Excellent work, Ben! You should receive a nice, valuable, golden watch to immortalize your performance

  11. 43 meters in 2 seconds is approximately 77.4 kilometers per hour. that really average for a human

  12. It’s wierd that the OFFICIAL rugby site describes this as impressively by Colbe when people checked this a thousand times and Colbe is doing a illigal move and it should have been a re-kick.
