Great
Excellent summation Alex of on how to approach and strike an iron in 5 seconds. I like the idea of having the weight pressure you discussed on both the backswing and downswing in this video and the 3 stacked Dots that should stay in place during the swing. I will definitely try to incorporate both of these into routine! Well Done Alex!!!
I would love to see a video of you playing a round!
Awesome Alex! So the weight shift would be the same for a 4 hybrid? I replaced my 4 iron with a hybrid.
Once again…stack and tilt! 🙂
Stack and tilt it Alex….i like it!!!
Hi Alex. Help with Shank…the chips. PW. 56degree Help!!!

Will I be able to hit my 4 iron as well as you (I known I won’t hit it as far)?
Fantastic Alex, particularly transfer of weight. I have two knee replacements (through sports injuries) and sometimes my right knee freezes stopping me from getting my weight properly on my left foot. I have had 55 to 60% on my left foot and occasionally I would scuff the shot particularly on the tee but not on the fairway. This brief video will help my correction. Cheers Henry (PS maybe a video to help strong but injured golfers with susceptible knees. Only an idea).
this is coming along, but I need to work on consistency with it.
Alex please reply I play of 14 but I'm hooking the ball and it's killing my game and now it's eating into my long iron game my driver was my strong point now I'm only getting 180 yards roughly so can't reach greens in 2 and now trying to make up the distance is making me swing fast to get there and its not working I know you get a lot of comments and can't reply to them on but really would like your help 🙏
This is exactly what I've needed been playing 1 month and this works 😊
Do the 3 dots go for every iron shot?
Alex, I noticed on this video that it appears that you have the ball teed up about 1/2 inch. Is that the normal height for teeing for an iron shot? I have always pressed my tee down until the bottom of the cup is resting directly on the ground. I had the impression that the purpose of teeing balls for iron shots was just to create a uniform spot for the ball to sit every time.
Great work Alex. Why can i compress my 9,8,7 irons easily but 6&5 seem so much Harder? Thanks!
I really like the dots tip, very good swing thought to have. I am having trouble with a draw on every iron shot I hit ATM from 4 iron right up to 9 iron. Also happens with my hybrids…If I allow for it, it either stays straight or I overdraw/hook it. This is really effecting my scores as Im having trouble hitting greens especially on Par 3s. Any advice to get my ball flight straight again with these scoring clubs? Cheers
Greg Norman has been spruiking the right hip chasing the golf ball, I think your tips will work better Alex.
Hi Alex. Great lesson. I have been playing golf for many years and now into my seventies, I play off single figures and have done for over thirty year, however, I now have a tendency to come over the top in the down swing which causes all sorts of problems. Have you a solutions to the swing which will prevent this from happening? Love your lessons. Bill
Love your videos Alex, this one while the info is great, is annoying because of all the camera angle changes that happen. It made it difficult for me to watch and listen to you. You should watch it again to see what I mean. Continue the good videos.
Hi Alex! Great video as always and this is what I've been trying to achieve with my 4 iron. But at my age, I found out that I needed a lighter graphite shaft to help me gain more distance with less effort. Looking forward to use your tip here to work on the next time I'm on the range. Thanks so much!
