Burnley have agreed a deal in principle with Chelsea for defender Ian Maatsen.
The deal was a loan with an obligation to buy worth £31.5m.
It’s now up to Maatsen to decide on his future and he’s understood to be leaning towards staying.

Please we can’t sell him he’s quality much better then cucurella
Buying Cucurella was the biggest mistake Chelsea have made in the last two years, not only was it a massive overpay for mediocre player, but it blocked first team football for Hall, and now for Maatsen.
This desire to sell academy graduates to book the biggest profit, is certainly grating when they lose quality talent.
Chelsea should offer Cucu to Burnley for the same deal.
