5 years from now Goff will have more wins than Allen and the stats will be top 5 but people just know Allen is better than Goff. We all agree that Mahomes in on a different level than everyone else. Goff is 2-0 vs Mahomes while Allen is 1-3. We also don't know if you can just put anyone around Allen and the team will be good. Allen's cap hit is 13 million lower than Goff's this year. A lot of people are just shooting from the hip to down grade Goff.
"Goff can't win with just any team." Noone can we saw week one Mahomes couldn't win without Kelce and a leader on defense. So cut the crap its a team sport if it's good for the team do it. If the team works well make sure it stays that way and don't throw a monkey wrench into it because "DuH ThEy HaVe MoRe FlAsY QB."
goff showed his talent with the rams he was helped by gurley probably the star of the team but he contributed a lot too and reached the sb with cj anderson kupp while gurley was hampered also goff made the pro bowl while he was with the rams and is now performing/winning in detriot he has been one of the better qb's in the league for most of his career and i don't know why people automatically put some qb's above him this season when his performances have been much better

If they re-sign goff it will be stafford all over again!!! They need to move on and either go with hooker or get somebody young that can go off a rookie deal for at least 4 years. I don't hate goff I just think resigning him to a big deal would be stupid bc its the players around him that make him so good. Goff might have thrown a pik 6 in the Seattle game but I don’t blame that all on him. He shouldn’t have been put in that position to push the ball. There was some bad game planning by the coaching staff. Should have had more of a lead at the time. Great job guy’s. You’re the best
Call me stupid. But what if JGOFF takes a team friendly payment of aprox 43 mil a year. Would that be able to keep our players? If Goff gets 50 mil we won’t be able to afford anyone else.

I'll never get the hate, ever since Dan Campbell took over the offense the dude has been tremendous. He's had a couple stinkers here and there but for the most part he's been top 10ish, top 5 this year for sure. I believe he'll be fine without Ben too because deep down this is Dan's offense. He'll find someone else who can run it
Mahomes, Herbert, Burrow, TLaw, Hurts, Allen…Goff isnt top 5 till he beats good teams. TLaw came into his own after playing the Lions last year and is way more talented. And I didn’t even mention Purdy or Lamar.

If the Lions get rid of Goff they will end up being the SOL again. You dont throw away a QB like him soley because of money. You make it work and keep him.
As for MVP. If the season ended today id say Purdy, Hurts , McCaffrey, Tua, and Mahomes.

People wanna talk about Brock purdy and anyone would do that good on that offense, I’m starting to think the same about ours. Put a mediocre qb back there and they might have the same success… Goff isn’t doing anything special. He’s not making an insane throw only he can make
