Mooney is in a contract year maybe the lack of looks are intentional. Because the bears will have draft picks to draft a bigger/cheaper #2 in the draft ? No Justin Jefferson this week (and beyond. and the Vikings back 4 sucks), Packers show that they really suck, and the lions are basically over achieving vs bad teams; they haven't beaten a respectable team all year; Played KC minus Kelce and Chris Jones. we have an opportunity to build more momentum with some easy match ups – before we have tougher games. These easier games are needed for our newer guys to Build continuity and confidence. Golden opportunities.

The Home game should give the Bears an advantage, but the problem is the fans shouldn’t be booing their home team… When they played in Washington it seemed like they were much more relaxed because they didn’t have their fans booing them… How does that help? So if the fans are going to the game don’t disrespect
I know Justin Fields can be a great quarterback… I have no doubts whatsoever it’s just a matter of time and acquiring more talent… Every team we played, people seem to forget, they have a lot more number first round picks on the teams… The Bears have one on defense… They have three on all fence, including Justin, DJ and Darnell… That’s it! It shouldn’t be an excuse but the talent disparity is enormous and the fact that they beat Washington shows just how good they can be when everyone is focused and everyone is executing properly… They can beat the Vikings if they do the same kind of thing… Have a great game plan and execute properly… Justin has the “it“ factor… He makes some incredible throws, and yes he still overthrows a bit but I would put that on the receiver who should continue to run instead of turning around to look for the ball… And a couple players Darnell Mooney should’ve stayed running forward and then look over his shoulder instead of turning around and then giving the defender his full front… You don’t want to open yourself up like that do you wanna stay closed and give the defender your back and catch the ball over your shoulder… So it’s not only Justin‘s fault… Anyway like I said this team has the ability to get better but I could care less if the record is five and 12… It doesn’t matter because the draft still matters more they are in the second year of a five-year rebuild and it usually takes five years to rebuild a team if not six… And of course injuries always delay that but I think this is going well… Unfortunately the Chicago media and fans, some fans… Have zero patience… I took Walter Payton so many years over 10 years to finally start winning he was in his 30s… He was drafted in the 70s Michael Jordan didn’t start winning until he was almost 29… It takes time people… So just be patient watch him grow and learn and he’ll get there.
I’m still really upset about Chase Claypool, I was rooting for him because of his size, strength, speed and ability… It’s really unfortunate but I think what he has is bipolar disorder or other mental issue, similar to Brandon Marshall… Hopefully he gets the help he needs But I’m still really saddened that he hast to go to another team because his potential is really extraordinary but sometimes you just have to find the right team get the right help and instead of assuming the player is the problem, assume the player has problems that are not made public… And I think that’s what happened. Anyway good luck to you Chase claypool I never had any bad feelings toward you and I always wanted you to be successful in Chicago and it’s just too bad it didn’t work out.
Also, Cole Kmet, should get more targets… Of course they’re going to double team and really hound DJ more because of his explosive abilities… And I’m sure that Darnell Mooney will need to also have more influence in the office… He just has to stop backpedaling and jump to catch the ball… He needs to stay forward, keep running, and let the ball fall over your shoulder instead of jumping and turning around, although it looks good, They often turn into incompletions… And it’s some thing he has to stop doing… Sure looks great but he should know better than that… He also needs to continue to keep running instead of slowing down… Two or three passes could’ve been cut easily if he just kept running through the route instead of slowing down, it’s really frustrating but I know he can be a really good if not great receiver… Because his problems aren’t that difficult to fix.
Flus, you have to figure out why the team slows down in the second half? We lost in Denver because of it & the commanders they were coming back again in the 2nd half, you better fix it fast🤔🤔🤔

I am all in on Justin Fields being the franchise quarterback of my favorite NFL team the Chicago Bears. Chicago does not need to draft another quarterback. You have your quarterback already on your team. and that is Justin Fields. Chicago currently has 8 draft picks in the 2024 NFL draft. The Bears need to draft 3 offensive linemen (LT – Center – Guard), 3 defensive linemen (DT – DE – DE), and 2 defensive backs (CB – Safety). Jeff Saturday is absolutely correct about Fields needs to work on processing and timing and he will be fine. Chicago has one of the beat quarterbacks in the NFL and the quarterback is Justin Fields. The southside knows ball like Bo.

Maybe I’m overthinking but I wish he would be more happy for DJ’s big day last week. I understand the whole team first mentality but just acknowledge you have a young star at that position. Saying we need to do it with other receivers is okay but no other receiver is a true number 1.. Chicago hasn’t had a legit number 1 receiver since brandon Marshall ‼️So please understand your team coach‼️
