Thanks for this – more interviews with mechanics and technicians please!
Wow! Great guy. Of course I have seen him working but never heard him talking. He is 110% positive energy. (probably even more). BTW can we also have an interview with Hannah? I believe she has some great stories to tell about strategy.
Because hes dutch man!
Love to see his reactions and intensity❤
Good level-headed dude. Nice interview.
Lewis could learn allot from max. Race craft be humble and don't act like Madonna. Also be more consistent
TY sky and Calum for this inside look. So interesting to hear the way other members of the team (as important as the drivers or team principals) experiance their work. Show us more please
Love this interview! Lovely guy and an interesting peek into the work that goes into an F1 weekend.
Cmon it’s all about the car , any of the top 6-8 drivers could be in that Red bull car and win the championship. Just like Mercedes for all those years, you just have to be the driver in the right spot at the right time.
Great podcast well done Calum
Excellent interview 👌🏻 Calum is really an inspriring guy.
Vegas, Baby. Enjoy!
Great guy, but needs to cut down on the 'obviously'. Almost Essex levels of obviously obnoxious.
I have seen a few interviews with him. Extremely nice guy and a very inspirationa story he has to tell.
Max Verstappen ❤een Nederlandse held❤ this guy always so good aura when i see Max cheering after a rare win😊❤❤❤he has charisma👍💪☦️🙏👏
someone get this man some wider glasses pls
Calum:
Max won’t leave anything on the table 💪🏼
And he’s one of us, and he cares for us…
This guy is everywhere
Wonder what the base pay is for someone in the garage is? And bonus?
i remember this guy having beef with mercedes fans on twt 😂
Never seen him before ? Where’s peddles he was there since day 1
Absolutely fantanstic guy. Great insights on some of the behind the scenes stuff and his perspective on the sport we only know from the spectators point of view.
Kids, list to Calum!
Also, some adults could do better with his advices.
The FIA make decision, or people employed by them make decisions, that affect points, race outcomes etc and they dont go back on those decisions.
They hand out a massive fine to Hamilton, now a week a week later, they are on the verge of changing that decision.
That sounds like its a Hamilton fanbois crying, it isnt.
The referees decision is final, you play to the whistle.
That applies in any sport.
The referee, in this case the FIA, cant change their minds like this.
Just like changing rules ate the end of a race or like we saw last weekend in Qatar, it can and will have a profound affect.
All it does is make the sport and the FIA look bloody stupid.
They have got to stop doing this.
Calum is such a cool guy! Down to earth and a very positive mindset ……… so he is the perfect match working together with Max.
Man won the Championship and no one even cares get out of here with this Skysport this was a boring season of racing.
Such a well spoken, comfortable guy. Maybe F1TV or Sky should get an actual, current expert like him in to commentate for a change.
Cool guy, fun interview, nice diversion from current events.
Would this of happened if he was white?
Interesting to see he's not aware he's the face of many people working in the background with a few others. He's world famous and not getting it yet 😂
By far the best insight of what goes on within an F1 team……..Calum explains everything so well.
Finally Sky Sports woke up and seeing the value with these Teams members behind the scenes and what they bring to the table weekend and week out. Its a Team effort for sure. And MAX is CRUSHING IT 3 time World Champion. … Duane
Seen this man race after race being pumped and giving it all, never seen an interview with him before. So good to hear the perspective of one of the team members you only see but hardly ever get to hear. Great interview with this multiple World Champion (because let us not forget that if you are part of a team that becomes World Champion, you are a World Champion yourself as well) Thank you Callum, may you win many more with the team.
The next generation Peter Windsor !!
I realy like his attitude and way off thinķing!!
Great man!!
Oh my word! So awesome to see him in an interview!!! We see him in the pits so to now see him here is awesome!!! What an awesome guy!
This was awesome! We see this dude in the garage every race weekend. Now we have a voice and background to go with the guy. It's great to hear about all the hard working people that are there doing hard work.
I think you really are an excellent role model!
"I always take a smooth weekend", But the hard ones are the ones you wll cherish and remember!
Save yourself 47mins. The inside story is RB Racing cheat and everything Max has 'achieved' is on the back of breaching the cost cap or FIA manipulation.
This was an excellent piece.
Amazing to see sky do anything positive about RB and Max.
Hopefully this isnot an outlier and becomes the norm.
Excellent, except the diversity nonsense.
Not again a Podcast……Max Verstappen hates this podcasts…
Great point about being open about things that go wrong. People with fragile egos will never achieve anything, but managers with fragile egos who come down hard on people who make mistakes, will cause the team never to achieve anything special.
I look like Callum, worked at Chrysler engineering in the 70s as a senior engineering student, With the same aspirations, but Quit To become a doctor, because they Or no race opportunities then.
My God how things have changed, I remember seeing a black engineer down loading off of Emerson’s Indycar, And I cried
Thank God guys like Callum had the fortitude to push it forward. 72 now and racing, but You’re very jealous and very proud. Thank you
