  1. Your content is excellent. Well researched, relevant, and captivating. But if I can offer some good faith criticism; your voice over needs work. It's rigid, and your tone of voice is very repetitive. Every sentence ends in the same exact downward inflection. Try to express yourself more. Inject your personality into the VO. Or at least, change up the delivery. Your channel has potential to pop-off, and I would love to see that <3

  2. Hey Boston had a better season, just saying. their fall in playoff shows all of it means nothing and everything. I predict both teams too fall off this season. Sadly NJD are more prone to fall off after they have peak seasons recently. that being said all their issues are mental. they are good just as the leafs if not better. but both team get hard time trying to shake off loser mentality and crumble and implode on ice when goals get disallowed and being scored upon early. NJD can now score more, early, and first. they should just keep the high pace even if the game isn't going their way.

  3. You have to be able to protect your players – young skilled players need to be protected and who is the “Wilson” here?

Toronto, the Rags and Edmonton were all the “next” Islanders of the early 80’s.

The Devils need a lock down goaltender. We do not have that or a “Wilson” to enforce any dirty hits on our smaller younger players.

  4. Devils fan here.

1.) thanks for fo jinxing us

2.) Devils fans have leaned not to be hopeful. You just become disappointed.

  5. If they win the cup this year, I might agree with you. But you’re putting the cart before the horse my man.

  6. Schmid is the key. If he can become the franchise goalie, that is the final piece of the puzzle. Of course, any Devils goalie will have to handle standing in the shadow of the GOAT. But if the can be the heir apparent, this team has all pieces is place to win multiple cups!

  7. I was at the 1st home preseason game, beating the flyers 6-0 .. I love my Devils and I never stopped believing. Keep sleeping on my boys, we're gonna love being the leagues nightmare 😈😈😈 LGD!!!

  8. Tom Fitzgerald is going to get A LOT of credit and it's ALL deserved, but I have to give a shoutout to Ray Shero as he laid some of the seeds for this rebuild going the direction it did. He paid the price though for it taking longer than it should have. I honestly think Hischier and Bratt both benefited from learning from and playing with Taylor Hall for a few years, even if Hall was traded for an underwhelming return. The Hall for Larsson trade was one of the biggest fleecings in NHL history at the time.

  9. On Meier, I think some of his playoff stats were a bit deceiving: dude was a shot generation machine against the Rangers, but he just couldn't break through Sheshterkin. Now that he's had a bit of a season, a playoff run, and now offseason/training camp to get better acclimated in New Jersey I think he's going to take off; maybe 40 goals is a career year stretch, but 30 is very reasonable, I think.
Goaltending will be interesting to watch: Schmid seems pretty unflappable, but obviously his output last year was a small sample size. Vanecek was very reliable during the regular season, but he started more games than he ever has before and that showed in a tired looking playoff performance. Having them split the workload is probably best for now.

  10. Good God!! Now that they are middle aged men, cousins Tom Fitzgerald and Keith Tkachuk nearly look like twin brothers now. Except that Tkachuk is really fat.

  11. Funny how some hockey fans (esp rangers and others in metro) say the "TRAP" is how the Devils won in the 90's – and Canadian press was the cheerleader's to push that narrative. BUT whats funny is the Canadians of Montreal did the TRAP for decades, D E C A D E S, and won many cups from that system. But the 95 Devills were one of the highest scoring teams that year, so it wasn't a "TRAP" it was the Devils were just better, and wanted it. (Hope they sent a snapshot of the cup with the names on it to Gretzky, Dumbo himself")

  12. Started watching the NHL about halfway through the 21-22 season thanks to my girlfriend who's a Devils fan, the last dark season for us, glad I stuck with both the sport and the team, last season was great to see and it's only going to get better
