Everything You Need To Know About Adjusting Your TaylorMade Loft Sleeve | #trottiegolf

Should You Play The Stealth 2 or the Stealth 2 Plus Fairway Wood?

This weeks #tourtrucktuesday upload will help that decision and explain some of the benefits of the TaylorMade loft sleeve.

The positions of the loft sleeve will be explained, demonstrating the yardage differences between the higher, lower and standard settings. Using the Full Swing Kit you’ll be shown both the normalized and actual data before I move the sliding weight, drop the spin and find the exact setting for me.

Inspired by a new KBS TD 70 Cat 5 shaft change and opening up with a club build in the PGA Tour Department at TaylorMade this upload has it all.

  1. Hey Trottie! I see you swapped the 50 gram sliding weight to a 46 gram weight. How much hot melt did you use? What’s your swing weight? Great video!

  2. Trottie, with the open weight port on Stealth 2 does dirt and mud clog into that area?

  3. Tested a stealth 2+ a couple weeks ago and immediately put it in the bag. Best fairway wood I’ve ever had by a mile.

  4. Hey, what do you say you hook up a loyal fan with whichever of those fairway woods you don't want? Lol. I currently don't have a 3 wood from this decade and wish I could afford a Stealth! Great video, Trottie! It's amazing what a few degrees of static loft can change!

  5. Hi Trottie, where can the 4 wood stealth 2 plus fairway be demo’ed and purchased? I feel like that a good loft for me.

  6. Trottie my man – why the switch to FSK vs TrackMan? Which would you go with no bs / marketing. Cant beat the FSK price point – but accuract matters.

  7. Is that whole shop setup just a few steps behind your camera on the range here? Or you need to go to another part of the property for that? I've seen you step away to do club adjustments in fitting videos, I always wondered where that work was done

  8. Trottie many years ago I made clubs for many, not like you but I'd make up to 100 sets a year. Driver many many more using Golfsmith and Golfworks components. You speak my language and I really enjoy your content. Thanks for all…. Glass beads nobody ever understood…

  9. Trottie, I have a stealth 2 plus 5 wood but when I unscrew the head to adjust the loft sleeve the head doesn’t budge one bit….any suggestions? Is it possible the manufacturer would have glued the head to the loft sleeve?
