The DP World Tour returns to Club de Campo Villa de Madrid this week for the 2023 acciona Open de España presented by Madrid. Jon Rahm is hoping to add to his impressive resume in Madrid and take a fourth acciona Open de España title after claiming his third last year. Rahm knows this tournament well after back-to-back victories in 2018 and 2019, he produced the lowest score in the history of the Open de España in 2022. He’ll be feeling confident after his fourth-place finish at the BMW PGA Championship was followed by gathering three points in four matches at the 2023 Ryder Cup. Justin Rose will also be teeing it up in Madrid in his first tournament since Team Europe’s victory at Marco Simone. He’ll be feeling confident after finishing 4T at the Betfred British Masters before an incredible performance in Rome. Alex Fitzpatrick will be at Club de Campo this week. He claimed 5T at the Omega European Masters in September alongside playing well for a 15T finish at the D+D Real Czech Masters. Others to look out for are Victor Perez, Yannik Paul and Simon Forsström.

I enjoy these lowlights when the real highlight is Pavon shooting 11 under beating the world #3.
Most fun player to watch in the world 😊
Rahm is 8 shots back. He’s going to back door a top 10 maybe but he won’t sniff contention , show some golf jeez
God. How boring 😢
I don't understand where are the others?
Too much pressure in front of the home crowd will do that to anybody
Looks like he is trying to hard. Probably needs to be a bit relaxed and not think too much. He hasnt been playing well honestly for the past few months.
Do the Sky Sports commentators not get embarrassed having to regularly apologise for the "inappropriate language" which the foul mouthed Rahm consistently lets rip from his mouth? Hardly a good role model for the many youngsters who follow him at tournaments!
Really like Rahm he is on of the top 500 all time! No doubt!
