  1. Go Lexi! I hope she makes the cut and better really compete!! The course is 7,200 yards a little over an LPGA major may be? She can handle it and I hope the best for her!!

  2. The biggest thing Lexi has that other women haven’t had that competed in a men’s event is her ability to spin the ball. That’s much more important than the distance

  3. I think it speaks volumes about the state of womens sport in general when lexi said making the cut would be a career highlight. Just making the cut in a male event is more significant to her than winning an entire lpga event.

  4. She should feel honored as she has done nothing in this year or frankly in the past 3 years to deserve the invite. She knows as well as those who follow golf that there are at least 10-12 more deserving players on the LPGA tour than she is at this point. And if you look she hasn't been the longest on the LPGA tour for a couple of years either. One of her wins at the Solheim Cup this year was to the lowest ranked player on the European team and she only won 2 and 1. A mediocre accomplishment that was over hyped by the LPGA and her own marketing and branding engine. Because the LPGA favors american players do to US marketing objectives, Lexi has always had them, the Cobra marketing team and her own marketing and branding engine over hyping her ability and accomplishments. In my opinion her excepting such an invite show a lack of respect for her more deserving LPGA players, and thus a lack of respect for the game and a lack of integrity. Recently I saw an idiotic piece about how Lexi is over criticized and somehow treated worse than other players. But perhaps it is more of a response to people getting tired of a player who performance is determined by a flawed golf swing and a $.10 cent head and not the marketing hype.

  5. Course set up I think is 7300 approx..Still think she’s going to need a good long Iron game .. be interesting.

  6. You can barely win on the LPGA !! US women golfers can't even beat the best Asian women golfers!!!
