Do Golfers need Arccos ? We already have the technology.

Topbloke is annoyed at crossy glowing Ad for Argos . Do we need to stick things in our grips? Or can we use the technology we already have. Discuss

  1. I wish these you tube bloggers who tell us all how to do it .would tell us what there WHS handicaps were!!!!

  2. Absolutely ‘seamless’ video there TB. I suspect the My Golf Gains money ended up the same way as Arthur Fowlers Christmas club fund.

  3. Funny thing is before Arcoss it was Shotscope that was amazing and the thing that golfers couldn't play without.

  4. Playing golf is brilliant, infuriating sometime but still brilliant & that's all we want to do. Watching golf, unless it's the Majors or the Ryder Cup, is mostly boring & as far as gathering a whole load of useless statistical information is concerned ?…Well, you can just fcuk right off !.

  5. Arccos and shot scope are
Recognised as the best shot tracking and stat collection products on the market…Arccos has the largest data base of stats world wide….and the both use strokes gained to tell you where you are loosing shots…
Also Crossy is involved with them and Lou Stagger I'm guessing sponsorship of some kind as he was with shot scope…..so it's no surprise he is try to flog this product…..
I'm not sure what your beef is here….apart from giving Crossfield a hard time….fair play😂😂😂
By the way I don't use either of them nor Garmin before you give it to me….

  6. topbloke great to hear from you as for crossfield he is nothing more than a salesman. and as for Arccos total waste for high handicapers. Hope to hear from you soon, keep up the good work

  7. I think arcoss is a waste unless you are considering playing on tour or a very high level. What good does having all this data to tell me I’m a crap golfer do if it can’t suggest mechanical swing fixes? I’d rather spend the money on lessons.

  8. Going to the range and using shit tracer tells me I’m hooking the ball and over drawing it ,going on the course tells me the same thing ,looking at my score card and adding up the numbers confirms it all .Not seeing the point of this system at all .

  9. I bought Shotscope because it was cheap, no subs, and thought I’d get a better understanding of how far I hit all my clubs under real playing conditions. Trouble is it misses a lot of shots unless you remember to tap the grip against the watch and make sure it has detected the club in your hand before playing the shot. I forget this a lot. It also picks up the wrong position on the course sometimes so it gets the shot distance wrong. Then you have to edit the round afterwards and try to remember where the missed shots actually went. So the stats probably aren’t worth a lot. Wouldn’t buy again, just too much of a faff on.
