Carl did a great job hosting and he has a lot of opinions on this car and current nascar. Very knowledgeable and can see what the car and the drivers are doing and how it all reacts

He’s nearly 44 years old guys. He’s not gonna make a full time re-entry to the sport. Maybe he does 4-5 races a year for a while or something. Doubt it’d be cars that could win.

I agree Kenny, I think it would be great to have Carl back. What if he drove for JR Motorsport in the cup series? I also think it’s time Kenny comes out of retirement back to FOX. Kenny and FOX and the speed channel back in the day was the best!
What's not to like about Carl Edwards?
Unfortunately it seems like when a serious sports talent "retires" then mount a comeback they end up disappointed, when you lose your "MoJo" it's no easy feat to get it back, fool around with SRX or late models Carl, leave the rest of the NASCAR drama where you found it.
It's no mystery why he left Nascar. Nascar screwed him.
There's only one other person I would love to see comeback and that's the HERMANATOR!
Lets talk about how the nascar playoff system screwed him outta 2 championships. In 2008 he had 9 wins and should have won the championship. And in 2011 he should have won the championship and thats nothing against tony stewart. Plus that bs phantom caution at homestead in 2016 led to him to getting wrecked by logano on the restart. He should be a 3 time champion. Just like kevin harvick should be. Theres 2 drivers ill defend right or wrong. Dale Jr and carl edwards.

I love Carl Edwards. He’s great but don’t come back Carl it’s not the same NASCAR you left they have gone woke and you know it that’s why there’s never anybody in the stands. I remember years ago going to the races and you had to beg and plead to get a ticket , now you can walk right up to the ticket counter and buy any ticket you want it any track

Carl Edwards walked away in his prime. He could have won so many more races and shot at.championships. its been to long 7 years. Yes he is in great shape but his age is getting up there. Guys Like Jeff Gordon, Tony Stewart decided to retire after so many races. Jeff Gordon was driving a car at 3 years old. We forget that these guys raced from a young age and it wears

I really miss Carl. He made the races interesting. Not always in the best way, but he was usually doing something noteworthy. I also miss how brutally honest he was. He wasn’t afraid to be honest when he did something he knew people wouldn’t like, and he was also not afraid to poke fun at other people that did something he didn’t like. For example, when he poked fun at Kyle Busch for smashing the guitar at Nashville. I would really love to see him come back.
