  1. I'd be worried about the Titleist holding up, that big plastic badge is not confidence inspiring.

  2. i'm sorry peter, taylormade is the one best known for game improvement irons? Hmmm… nope. That's Ping.

I cannot believe you excluded Ping from this video.

And to repeat. PXG and Taylormade created clubs with low quality fittings.

HUH? yep. They used screw and glue joins instead of sodered joins.

This saves a LOT of money in manufacturing but also makes it so they really don't last.

Honestly, each one is basically a knockoff on the internal design of the titleist clubs from this year.

Let me explain. Titleist came out first. Everyone saw something (me included) that was special and so all the other manufacturers copied it.

Welcome to capitalism in 2023….. just crooked on it's face. like that one? 😊

  3. I’m currently a 20 handicap i used to use the Taylormade MB’s now I’ve just bought some Takomo 100t irons hopefully they help my game

  4. I'm using 2020 Cobra Forged Tec irons with stiff Dynamic Gold 105s. I usually score in the mid-80s and I really like these irons, but I will be turning 62 soon and I'm starting to questioning my choice of the stiff shafts.

  5. Investing in crypto now should be on the mind of every wise individual, because in a few months you will be thrilled with the decision.🇺🇲💎🚀

  6. Interesting video Pete. I currently have an index of 13.4 and play Cleveland Launchers. I’ve really enjoyed them but may well change to something else over the winter. Not sure what though, so this video was really helpful. Cheers

  7. ive got last years cobra forged tec, recently upgraded to some oban shafts and they absolutely unreal 😍😍😍

  8. i play mizuno MP5H forged great irons as iv got older iv lost distance but love the feel and the ability to move the ball , so i have been looking new irons this video has helped . do love the look at the titlist great content thanks pete

  9. I'd love a set of those t200's still playing my 714's and i love them but it may be time for an update…

  10. I was fitted for and play the Mizuno JPX 921 Hot Metal irons. I shoot generally 85-90 on 6200+ yard course. My lofts aren't jacked as much, but with my age I'm thinking some more loft help would be beneficial as I do hit the ball high. I like PXG but having a fitter nearby is difficult. I'd likely go with Titlelist.

  11. I'm a 12 handicapper that fluctuates between rounds of 79 and 89. Im currently playing the previous generation P-790 irons and love them although I'm a huge fan of PXG. Have the PXG driver and would seriously consider comparing either the 0311 or 0317 irons for my next set.

  12. all that jacked up loft just means they have to sell you wedges with jacked lofts 😂

  13. Hey there, I am 66 and game the Taylormade Stealth irons (graphite shafts). I generally score in the high 70s to low 80s and these irons seem to be the ideal fit for me, great clubs…

  14. Disagree with the p790 inclusion, it should be the p770. P790 are aimed more at a high handicapper. This is confirmed by the strong lofts offered on the p790 but weaker on the p770. High handicappers lack distance in the norm. Just saying of course

  15. Another good video Pete, all your content is by far superior to that Shiels guy – struggle to watch his Vids now. Keep up the great work

  16. I shoot in the mid to high 80s regularly but have a ton of speed. I use 2021 t100 irons with x100 shafts. I wouldn't mind a little more forgiveness but the lofts tend to be stronger which I absolutely do not need. What I do need is more practice haha, especially with the flat stick; I suck at putting. Cheers Pete and crew.

  17. Hey pete, 56 Male shoot 75-85 I play p790 and love them. Still can shape when Im forced to. Dont play enough to trust purposely shaping lol.

  18. 14.2 HCP index. Usually score in the mid to upper 80s. Gaming 2023 TM P790s. Have used P790s for several years now and just upgraded to the newest version.

  19. Playing original titleist AP2’s.
    11 handicap.
Consistent distances compared to the Apex’s that I had before where every once & a while I’d smash one 20 yards over the green & into the car park!!

  20. I'm playing off 15, and I've got 4i to gap wedge in i230. I've heard a lot of people say that doesn't make sense, but I love the way they look, feel and perform for me.

  21. I’m terrible at golf. Hardly keep score. Shoot in the 100s getting better but struggle to score short range off the green. I am swing the Cobra full black forge Tec MB/CB combos. Love them.

  22. Hi Pete I am a 4.4 handicap and I play mizuno hot metal so call high handicap iron it’s not the club it’s the golfer

  23. I was off 13.4 a few months ago.
    Got fitted for the p790s
As they were the best feeling.
Iv dropped 2 shots in the last 2 weeks as iv finally got used to them.
    3 rounds in a row under 80.
They are amazing and I couldn't recommend enough.

  24. I know plus handicap golfers that use the same irons on here. I think putting irons in to a golfer category is wrong. U should play whatever works for u.

  25. Pete, I am 59 yrs and started Golf 3 yrs ago. I am now somewhere around bogey golf on avg., I did shoot a 14 over though (best round, 2 birdies). I currently play the Takomo 101, I do leave the 4i at home though, I very much prefer my Ping 425 7w. The Takomo's have given me shot length, consistency (i.e. forgivemess) and feel. Honestly, the looks are unbelievable. Numerous times people ask me how I manage to play blades…..

  26. Hi Pete.
I'm a 6.2 handicap and I've had my new Titleist T200 Irons for a good few weeks now. They look absolutely awesome, and the performance and feel are unreal. I did try the P790 when I was fitted but preferred the look feel and performance of the Titleist.

  27. 14 handicap and was fitted for JPX 921 HM almost 2 years ago. Very forgiving iron but just very chunky. I’ve also got some older forged Nikes that feel amazing and I’ve been playing. Might swap back to the Mizunos though since I’ve take 2 months off from playing…

  28. I've been playing with Titleist 718 AP3 since release. Don't really get to play much, at best once a week, but I can usually hang around the high 80s. I would pick the Titleist or PXG irons

  29. Mizuno jpx 921, titleist t200, Wilson staff, etc….all feel great! (When I hit them the way that I should!) Ain't a damn one of them have changed my ability to hit them correctly! They all work…..if I hit them correctly!!!
Clubs are not the issue….my ability to swing consistently and correctly seems to be the major malfunction!
    Play well!

  30. 17 handicapper and game the Mizuno 923 HM. I had the Paradym X but found them heavy and way too chunky.

  31. 18 birdies had my handicap at 10.4 (🧢🧢🧢🧢) I play with bombtech 4.0 set I love em but mannnn if my wife wasn’t in school full time I’d die for a set of T200’s

  32. Hi Pete
Play of 11 I'm using wilson d9 forged absolutely fantastic irons and cheaper than most other brands.
