Those Elevens could walk my ball to the hole and drop it in, and I still wouldn't play them. Scored a piss-poor 89 yesterday with a driver that wouldn't do what it sometimes does and a putter that must have belonged to Rick Shiels in another life. But, the 712s that were working magically. Don't think I hit a bad iron shot all day. 160-meter pured 7-iron on the 18th to 3 feet is all I really remember. That and the horrible lines my caddy was giving me.
I cannot strike these oversized gimmick clubs.. They have awful turf interaction, the weight makes it difficult to get around on the ball and they have zero feel or shot shaping abilities!
Very interesting data point…. I do not recall a review drilling down to see what is the lowest club head speed to have a 7 iron have a 150 yard total.
