In this video we review how to play golf using the best ball format of play. This type of golf game involves members of a foursome forming a team and competing against all other teams in the field for a given day. Only the single best score for each hole among the group is written on the scorecard, hence the name best ball. This goes on for the 18 holes and at the end of the day scorecards from all of the teams are compared and the team with the lowest total score is named the winner of the event.
Tactics and strategy are also covered, such as what should play #3 and #4 do on the tee after seeing both player #1 and #2 go out of bounds. Best ball is a very relaxed and enjoyable format of golf where each golfer is encouraged to help the team post a good score but not all 4 golfers are required to play well on every single hole.
