  1. Sadly there was no competition in that race for Erriyon. Would love to have seen him go up against Jereem Richards who dropped a 44.6 PB

  2. I've seen Knighton drop a low forty four to high forty three 400m split on an Adidas all star type team against the Florida Gators almost exactly one year ago. That was when Florida set the all time NCAA quartet relay record for that event.Interestingly, Georgia's quartet came within striking distance of that very same record themselves at the Texas Relays running a 2:58.82

  3. I think a 100 meter specialist should run 400 meter races in order to strengthen up for the 200. And 400 meter specialists should run 100 meter races to get their speed up for the 200. I'm not a famous track star or coach, but I've done my share of racing at those distances and I know what training worked on my body to improve my times.

  4. Short answer, Yes. Knighton is one of my favorite runners. Very relaxed as long as Lyles doesn't drive him crazy.

  5. He's getting stronger for the 200 and 100. I think Fred Kerley and Shericka Jackson are highlighting the advantages of strength as the foundation for speed for sprinters who aren't great starters.

  6. Erriyon is still a year and a half away from being the drinking age. He's not even close to his peak, smh. Sky is them limit for him ad long as he stays healthy!
