  1. As I European, Max was fully embraced by our fans. Played some great, clutch golf and really embraced the spirit of the event. Huge credit to him. Hope there are more guys like him in future US teams.

  2. Max shutting dow the Stefan garbage too 😂. “That would be distracting, IF IT EVER HAPPENED”

  3. As a Canadian, It is interesting to hear Max say the US team is a lot more casual and relaxed in the President's Cup then the Ryder Cup. There may be something to that as to why the US has dominated the President's Cup both home and away and has more difficulty with the Ryder Cup.

  4. I love Max & Joe.. And, clutch up and down/putt on 18.. But, WTF was he doing on 16 hitting driver after Fitz rinsed one. I'm 20 min in and still haven't even heard that mentioned.

  5. You two are absolute fruads……did you guys forget that you leaned harrrrrrd into the "they aren't one unit/chemistry" narrative when you said that Cantlay and Xander not traveling over with everyone else was evidence of said narrative…..spineless.

  6. During our RC broadcast in Poland, we knew almost immediately that Max took unplayable, thanks to our great commentators. Now it turns out that most of the people in the World did not know that, at that moment.

  7. As a huge European fan who badly wanted to win, I couldn't help but root for Max to hole that putt on 18. No way did he deserve to "lose" the cup for the USA and was a huge credit to his team.

  8. Nail on head Max – you hadn't felt what it was like to be on a losing team….many of Europe's team members hadn't either but so invested are the Euro's that on the team or not they felt it almost as strongly as if they were!

  9. God, Max is the best. Favorite golfer, favorite fanalysts, what a world. SO proud of Max.

  10. Amazing interview. Avid European team supporter since the 90s but Max has the right stuff.

  11. I mentioned to my buddies in the golf group chat that max looked like he was vibrating on that first tee. Haha! Glad to have it confirmed. Much love to max and y’all. Great stuff.

  12. Max is one of my favorite players ever since strapped. I was never a fan of Cantlay until this Ryder Cup.

  13. The better individuals can win at home when they are the better players, but to win against adversity you need a team mentality. The european culture is more team orientated whereas the American culture is highly individualistic, this is a given. The Americans will win in Beth Page and will break the hoodoo eventually. The issue with fans, I think the American fans go too far and more of them go too hard, respect is key, booing is fine, personal insults and physical intimidation is not.

  14. Will you guys apologize for Jamie Weir? Exposed himself as a bit of a hack and definitely published that story to cause drama within the American team. He’s a grade-A loser.

  15. This makes me feel even more confident as a Europe fan. The level of denial that must be permeating throughout that US team room is crazy!!

  16. “I look at strokes gained and see some of you guys in the negative” – could it be that on the PGA tour the courses are for what we’d call “flat track bullies” – where as in Europe we play more goat tracks. The jet lag comment was telling. If there was one basic thing you could allow for it might be that, surely?

  17. Jamie made that story up to try and disrupt the US club room! He also tried to give the fans some dirt to use.

  18. Max has no answers, usa has no answers. Max denies any money motives, money motives have been discovered. Europe doesn’t have these distractions. USA does. It means more for Europe. It’s easy to diagnose.

  19. Really interesting. Thanks Max.
But being pissed about not being given a putt?
    Surely that's matchplay 101
It's nothing personal, just hole it and walk on.

  20. I see it as this. Someone has to lose, you could play amazing but if you play 0 01% less than your opponent you lose. Doesn't mean the US team weren't playing well or the best they could on any given day. I'm glad Homa said he lost be he still enjoyed it.

  21. I could have missed it but what about the question of playing before hand, I know Max and JT were in Napa but everyone else if I’m right didn’t play for 5 weeks, the boys need to play through the Ryder cup then take your holidays in my opinion

  22. what an amazing interview. Max is gold. The NLU guys are awesome. Love this.

  23. Great interview. I love Max, but why didn't you guys push back on his take of Patrick/Xander. He sounded like Tron defending most of his bs takes.

  24. I want to see an NLU Film Room (scramble format)with Max and TC on the course together…this would be brutal for TC. Max would show no mercy!!!😄

  25. Max, brilliant to see you play in person and best compliment I can give you is we discussed when there how we wished you were on our side 🙌🙌 keep doing your thing and be v v proud of the way you played and how you held yourself Sir.

  26. Jamie Weir needs to apologize on NLU at minimum. In the words of the great Tronald – “FUCKING DISGRACE”!

  27. Great interview guys. In my opinion the “breaks and luck” Europe enjoyed can be attributed to some extent to the course set up. The stats guys had an idea regarding tendencies etc and it worked out.
