Everyone gets paid 353 days of the year. But for these 3 days, everyone but the players get paid? Doesn't make sense.
You need to put this in another context, what about the Olympics! they generate lots of money also, should athletes, pga players, be compensated also?

How come the European players are not complaining about any of this. They get NOTHING…they don't even get $$$ in a pension fund because they don't have one…….What is the problem with American players that make and are worth MILLIONS and this country?

The PGA of America ( holds Ryder Cup rights in the US – ) like the USGA and the R & A are charged with growing the ENTIRE game of golf not just players purses and use the proceeds to do so especially as the purses now take a huge bite in the majors on those the organizations bottom line. the players all make now more in one tournament than most fans and lovers of the game make in a lifetime – it should be their honor and privilege to give back to the game that has given them so much. They all keep saying certain events like majors they aren’t playing for the money – except for most they really don’t mean it – you don’t like the rules no one is forcing you to play in it. The Euros are passionately playing for Seve not a paycheck.
Xander should speak for himself, not Daddy. If you want pay come out and say it. The X Man is in no position to dictate the terms of his participation as only 1 member of the team. The entire team can come together and make that demand not Daddy X Man. That is not his role. Oh by the way massive amount of money goes to the PGA Tour Players Pension Fund. Please don't forget that rather important point.
These players make a tremendous amount of money. They are the elite. They have nothing to complain about. However if they want to negotiate a percentage of revenues from the Ryder to be invested in less fortunate PGA players, then fine. But if this is about money in their pockets, they can always go join Liv.
