The day has finally come. As of Wednesday September 27th, Damian Lillard is no longer a member of the Portland Trail Blazers. Dame has been traded to the Milwaukee Bucks where he will form one of the NBA’s most lethal duo’s with Giannis Antetokounmpo. Dame leaves Portland as arguably the greatest player in franchise history, and as an icon of the city. So today we look back on Dame’s time in Portland, and how the Blazers franchise failed their greatest player…

  1. Sorry the video is a little late guys! YouTube was taking its sweet time processing this one.

Thank You guys so much for 40,000 subscribers! Seeing the growth of this channel over the past year has meant so much too us. Ben and I always dreamed of being content creators on YouTube so too see it actually come to fruition is still kinda unbelievable. Thank you too everyone who has supported us, the support we have gotten from you guys has been unbelievable and a literal dream come true. We’ve had such an amazing year, but I guarantee you the best is still yet to come!

Now if you will excuse me, I was up for almost 20 hours straight finishing this video yesterday so I'm gonna go catch some z’s

Love yall and thanks for watching!

  2. Now I know we’re not just gonna shit on the Trail Blazers when dame has put up some shitter series in the playoffs. Right?

  3. I hate Gerald Henderson worse blazer ever 😢 I hope we’re good this year even though il be rooting for dame still and if they’re good I might just claim the bucks 😂😂

  4. As an older blazers fan, I can honestly that "NO" you would not want to experience the jail blazers from 2000 to 2004. It was a nightmare!

  5. You know these dudes are heartbroken to make a two hour documentary on Dame on the Blazers. Talk about being Blazers fans

  6. I moved to portland in 2004 and I played community college basketball and coached for 6yrs. I’ve met blazers from the pippen era, Brandon Roy era, had dinner with coach cheeks, met Damian lillard can attest 95% of what they’re saying is spot on. Forgot some facts l, players and context but very good video listened to the whole thing✊🏽

  7. im a lakers fan. but this was quite touching. hope dame has a great season. best of luck to you all and great content guys

  8. I can understand the argument that Oden was the right choice at the time but you are delusional if you think he wasn’t a bust

  9. cut the cap the blazers didnt fail Lillard at ALL. Lillard is just NOT that good. Lillard had a better roster top to bottom than Clyde Drexler and Clyde led his team to 2 NBA Finals. Enough with the accuses.

  10. Im not even going to watch this, i just came to say, The Blazers organization failed him.

  11. While sad, it has been refreshing to see Cronin make the moves that Olshey would have never done. Too many times Olshey has stuck with his guys: Leonard, Harkless, Aminu, CJ, Nurk, Crabbe, and others instead of letting go and making progress with tougher decisions. Cronin has done an excellent job of resetting the franchise albeit with leaving the relationship with Dame on a sour note, but despite that sent him to IMO the best landing spot he could go to.

  12. My cousin worked at the Boys and Gilrs Club back then and he would give us nosebleed tickets for every season game. I remember being so excited when we'd score 100 points so we could get free taco bell! That was literally the highlight of those early Jail Blazer seasons 💀

  13. As a magic fan and fellow vehement small market team supporter, this is y’all’s dwight howard. It’s gonna hurt for a while and the rebuild is gonna be nasty but the foundation at the end is gonna be worth it. Orlando is just starting to finally build a real foundation for the future, I wish y’all a MUCH quicker rebuild!

  14. You guys did a pretty solid job but there some really important things you don’t mention. Writing this after you clowned the CJ trade. Which wasn’t great but one of the most important parts of that deal was creating the TPE. Because that was the only way to get Jerami Grant, since Detroit didn’t want CJ and they wanted to wait on dealing him.
