The 2023 Ryder Cup is the 44th edition and runs between September 25 – October 1. Zach Johnson is the U.S. Team Captain and Luke Donald is the European Team Captain. The U.S. Team are the reigning champion after winning 19-9 at Whistling Straits in 2021. Every two years, 24 of the best players from Europe and the United States go head-to-head in match play competition. Drama, tension, incredible golf, camaraderie and sportsmanship are served in equal measure, captivating an audience of millions around the world. It’s an event that transcends sport, yet remains true to the spirit of its founder, Samuel Ryder.

Its okay. The USA continues to bail out the pathetic European nations in all the important world events. Let them have their little trophy.
0:03 I was so disappointed at the lack of readiness by the USA team. I mean they don’t show up until the third day. That was the poorest team showing I can remember. It was the poorest individual showing I can remember. Spieth and Thomas what a Laurel and Hardy joke.. Scottie, Scheffler, choke. Call in macaroni.. we have been better off with an amateur stud. And I think our coach and the vice coaches were lame.

These highlights are awful. Imagine a football match jumping from 3-1 back to 1-1 then to 2-1.

The editing quality of these "highlights" are an embarrassment 😮
Lots are complaining about this "highlights" video and rightly so.
However just as bad if not worse was the "live" state of play on their website yesterday. They were miles behind in updating the scoring, maybe 10-15 minutes late which is shockingly bad.
I'm no fan of the BBC but their website was able to give live reporting and up to the minute scores.
There were literally millions of people who couldn't watch for one reason or another, and for the official website for the competition to be so poor in their editing and reporting is a disgrace.
This may be the worst highlights reel I've ever seen. Completely incoherent – we didn't even get the see the moment of victory. Disgraceful shambles. If this is the way you're going to treat the fans, no wonder so many players are breaking away from the tour. Pathetic.

This is the laziest editing I’ve ever seen from such a big organisation. One of the biggest sporting spectacles on the planet and all you can do is show 4 or 5 shots from each match with no context whatsoever. Shameful when there are other much better YouTube channels with better coverage than the organisers can muster up.

The format does not allow for huge comebacks. The USA would have had to win 9 of 12 singles matches to come back and win. I say get rid of ties. Make a tied match go to playoff holes and no more 1/2 points!

If the decision is not to pay the players for doing an outstanding job, why not also make the rydercup livestream free on youtube? With the advertising alone you might even be able to pay an editor to make the highlights in order of play, to relive this great event.

I was not really sure why everyone was complaining about how everything was edited. Now I saw the hole video I appreciate, that showing the matches one after another, without considering the score was a pretty bad decision
Crazy highlights which are all over the place.
Seeing the European team together looks like a party in someone's back yard where a bunch of guys who truly care about each other and love each other's company are getting together having fun and also welcoming some new people to the party and making them fit right in.
The American team looks like a bunch of no personalities guys at a corporate party tolerating each other not really trying to get close with anyone or make new friends. They are wondering how long I have to stay at the party and are far to cool to kick back and go out of their comfort zone and have fun
Fact is Europe should win every year they get to choose golfers from 16 countries, US choose from one. At least give them Canada as well. LOL!! Just saying 16 vs. 1 should win every time.
