Anybody in the lou other than myself feel there was some back tunnel meetings to get him over that threshold everyone kept talking about??? Between mgrs that is….
I’m gonna miss him. He was such a dominant pitcher for so long and such a genuine guy. I was lucky enough to meet him at a spring training and got his autograph. It was so early in the morning and he made time to have a great ten minute conversation with him. By far one of the best cardinals of all time
Only a handful of players I can think of that fall into the category of Waino. Matt Holliday, Ben Zobrist, Albert, Yadi, Miggy, Clemente… OK more than a handful but a very special category. Thank you Waino for everything.

Just your weekly reminder that the St. Louis Cardinals are the GREATEST team in the league REGARDLESS of what a "record" says.
Oh, and Adam Parrish Wainwright aka UNCLE CHARLIE … the 42-year-old from Brunswick, Georgia, is the GREATEST pitcher in baseball history!
Hope the next time I see you will be with your better half and the once babies having what they want.
Thank you Waino will always be my favorite player of all time.
I will miss you!!! 🥺🥺

"Cheesy burger phones and Ukuleles for everyone!"
I miss my Waino/Yadi combo. There will never be another them. But, I wish Waino well. His family deserves their time with him too.
Thank you, Waino!!!
Should've made him pitch in the last 9th innings last night. Would've been awesome!
That story about the Cubs pitcher not realizing who he was, never fails to break me up.
