  1. Well said Matt, I'm a long time UK fan (65 yrs) and Coach Stoops has the Cats at a place I've never seen. I didnt get to see The Bear's teams but this team is a solid all around team and tough as nails like Coach! With some luck and our new QB having his greatest game ever we could do it, I have no doubt. Cats beat the pups at Athens!!!!

  2. After all the good things that happened, two bother me. Catching the ball has to become a priority. Leary's accuracy has to improve. It's time for all of his hype to come to fruition. We only scored 10 points in the 2nd half – that has to be of concern

  3. Over 48 points have been left on the field in the five games played. Dropped passes, penalties or penalties take you out of FG range or errant passes.

  4. Yeah we're going to need Dane Key and Baron Brown to make catches if were going to be able to compete with the big dawgs. But greatt win for sure! Love our Defense!

  5. Yessir Matt. Best game ive been to at the Krog! Crazy awsome atmosphere and the dominance was something ive waited my whole life to see! Finially im extremely excited to see where we are against Georgia bc to be honest they have not impressed me this season. If we didnt have recievers dropping touchdowns and first downs it would have been even worse for the gators. Fix the issues on the passing attack and nothing can stop this team. Get em wildcats #BIGBLUENATION

  6. I dont think Ray Ray wins the heisman bur i dont think Caleb does either. It seems very much lile the voters will never let anyone win 2 anymore.

  7. Kentucky is georgias most physical game all year every season. Thats what Kirby says every year and unfortunately Georgia NEVER overlooks UK. But with that said kentucky has a very legit chance to take down the dawgs if they play to thier true potential. Ps Deone Walker carrying Etieinne is my new screen savor

  8. From my perspective I felt like going into this game this was the least hype out of all the games we beat Florida in in those 6 years and from my perspective and I’m sure for many others , expected to win , at-least for ones who didn’t fall for that old Kentucky curse roaming in back of your minds (I know u Kentucky fans bet on Florida to win this weekend , n don’t lie) and we did , in a dominant performance and it showed how far this program has come it wasn’t just about we had a better team we’re the better program and it’s only going to keep going up as long as stoops is around he’s not in his prime yet and I believe as a program right now were better than most sec east program besides Georgia once stoops hits his peak he’s goin to go nuts it’s goin to be wild and this city will explode when stoops get to that SEC CHAMPIONSHIP BABY GO CATS

  9. Mark Stoops has elevated expectations. I always thought “If we could just win 7-8 games per season…” now, it doesn’t seem delusional to expect 9-10, and, with a few breaks, who knows…Either way, I’m proud to be a CATS football fan!!

  10. If Ray Davis keeps putting up madden arcade numbers like that forget about it I mean he’s definitely winning Heisman or yes placing second to Caleb Williams

  11. UK still hasn't played a complete game. Of course when your rushing attack is at one point averaging 20 yards a carry, you don't necessarily need a good passing game, but the QB to WR connection has yet to be the strength everybody thought it would be. Too many dropped passes, and too many overthrows by Leary.

The backend of UK's schedule is rough though. UK can win every game remaining, including Georgia or Alabama (neither team is playing to their true potential yet either), but they could also lose all of the rest of them.

It was nice to see the big blue wall open up lanes like they did for Benny, Bowden and Rodriguez before last year against UF. And the defense continues to look very good. Ray Davis is a stud.

  12. First off, a big congratulations to Kentucky on having a solid team. You guys are no longer a bottom dweller and just really a competitive team.

Should be a GREAT environment Saturday evening in Athens and the eyes of the nation will be open Sanford Stadium!

Having said that, you guys are playing Georgia. We are a NATIONAL PROGRAM and have been for many years. With that track record comes a certain level of respect both from the team AND FROM THE GEORGIA FANS. We demand respect not out of spite but rather due to who we are. SEC Titles, back to back National Titles, 95,000 seat stadium, the top overall NATIONAL Program IN THE COUNTRY. That is respect and people give us respect.

One of the things that I have tried to do whenever Georgia plays an opponent and the team is on a winning streak is to try to explain a few things so there are no problems at the game:

1) First, there will NOT be any yelling in my ear during the game. You guys are not going to come into Athens and do that. I will ask you one time to stop and no more. Look, it is a football game so of course you can cheer for your team. I don't mind clapping but this incessant yelling is out. If you continue then I will take a physical solution that you will not like. I will NEVER provoke but if you guys think that constant yelling in my ear is gonna be tolerated you are in for a big surprise. Same thing for the kids. Sure, they can be there but keep them out of my area and keep them quiet. If you cannot control the kids then you will be held responsible and I will take matters into my own hands. We don't put up with that crap in Athens.

2) If I have to go to the restroom I don't wait in line, I go to the front. This is an area where I have encountered some problems before so I am just making it clear now. A Georgia fan has earned the right to not wait in some bathroom line and we choose to not do it. We demand respect. If you have a problem with this you had better change your mindset. If you do decide to make an issue out of it then be prepared to face a physical solution.

3) Ditto for concessions. We go to the front of the line. NOT OUT OF SPITE OR TO TRY TO SHOW YOU UP. It is all about showing respect, folks. Again, if you have a problem with this I advise you to keep away from me or the Georgia contingent. I am very upfront and honest when I tell you that it ain't nothing for me to up and kick a man's ass. Done it several times and I'll do it again if pushed. NEVER will I provoke, though. It is YOU that determines my actions.

I sincerely hope everyone has a great time at the game and there are no problems. If folks understand a little history more and where the Georgia program and fans are coming from then we will have no problems.

We all love the pageantry that only college football IN THE SOUTH affords so let’s all have a great time Saturday but just wanted to clear a few things up.

  13. The biggest difference between UK and Florida is coaching. Florida still out recruits us but our coaching is superior.

  14. Leary is due for a true breakout game.. the defense is playing well and the offensive run game is coming together on the O line and Ray Day is a grown man amongst children.. if Leary can find his magic and the CATS play a complete game. Watch Out!!!

  15. UK put the gators out of the game after the first half. But the offense needs Leary to be accurate and for the love of god please WR catch the dang ball. Get that fixed and UK has a shot in GA

  16. Kentucky still has zero division wins beating a program through transition and rebuilding years doesn’t make you a better program 😂 holy shit . Imma laugh when you all lose predictably and don’t win the division AGAIN while patting yourselves on the back for winning your Super Bowl over freshman and sophomores at Florida 😂
