I don’t know why everyone is going after Craig. He seems like such a genuine and down to earth guy!

We can always send Joseph down to save on cap, can't we? Teams won't pick him up if they are asking for sweeteners now. Plus there will be injuries eventually, freeing space.
I still say, if anything, trade Branny before Joseph. We are pretty deep in D prospects and we need to solidify our bottom 6 F. Branny is worth more to other teams as he can play top 4, but will only be in a bottom pair here, so it will be better for his career elsewhere too. Klevin perfectly fits that 3rd pairing.
For Joseph, other teams will just point to last year's stats and offer bad trades. But we know he's better than that, so we shouldn't be giving up anything to unload a good player's cap.
Pappy is a good option other than Grampie.

But seriously, Sens D coach, what the frick are you doing? They've already taken years off Chabot's career. I really don't like the way they've abused him. More minutes = more turnovers. Great show!!
Total respect for Craig not only for what he said about Ottawa but that he said what he believed not what is politically correct.
I agree with Craig on almost everything. Chychrun is going to be a special player in Ottawa. This is the year they put the Nhl on notice.
Craig is on the money. I've been saying it, sens are better than the leafs already with their depth, their growth and their attitudes.
Why trade Joseph. Put him on waivers. If someone takes him you save save the first, if not you bury his contract in Belleville and then you still have him available in the event of injuries.

I love Greg’s thinking, but Buffalo and Detroit has gotten better. Also, there is a November to get through DJ smith and goaltending have to be top notch. If not then another year where the season is done after November.

I find it interesting that you guys think that Smith won't be playing the top 4 D close to 30 minutes a game all season long. Smith has shown that his only concern is his resume. He didn't care what he was doing to Chabot and he won't care about Sanderson or Chychrun either. Dorion will be all for it as well because his only concern is holding onto his job and looking good to Andlauer.
If Dorion adds a 2nd as a sweetener to move Joseph that means he gave away both Paul and Brown for nothing other than one year of Joseph. How is this guy not already fired?
